  1. Love the idea of the master blaster ! I will have to try this !
  2. I have a boars hair snow duster that is perfect for the snowfall we had here in Baltimore today. It's only good when it is a light fluffy snow and I only take off the top layer. Try not to touch the paint.
  3. I know this isn't what the thread is about please consider 4 ounce sizes as an option. 16 ounces of any air freshener is a whole lot unless you are a pro.
  4. I agree with this but I do feel like an annual Road rash spruce up helps. Keep in mind I have not yet done this my self. Still looking into the DIY process more. Dr. Color Chip seems so darn easy.
  5. The home brewing can really get crazy. Once I started with a stir plate and beaker for starters it really got out of hand lol. Clean cars is way less costly IMO.
  6. How much up keep on those wheels. My neighbor has one and his front wheels make me cry when I see them.
  7. Ok! Stopped by the wheel shop today and I feel a lot better about the repair process. Guess what wheel cleaner they suggest using. Adam's!
  8. Ok... Don't get me wrong. I LOVE foam, I LOVE suds. I use a foam gun I do not get a mountain of suds from any shampoo I use. My goal is to get the stuff that will come off with a little help before the rinseless wash or the wash mitts with with the 2b method. If the foam clings to the paint and does not run off easily you are not really benifiting from the process. When I first seriously started to pay attention to what I was doing with paint care I landed on a CG video that displayed an amazing amount of suds and I was under the impression that this was the goal. I was wrong .... if you have suds that are not touching the paint BFD !!!! Waste of good product. You need the water to carry any easily removed debris/contamination away. It does matter what product you use.
  9. I will get some pics up as soon as I can.
  10. This may sound insane but you can buy distilled water in 5 gallon carboys. I only know about this from my home brewing background. I would always mix cleaners and sanitizers with 5 gallons of distilled water and put them in a Carboy for use as needed. Because of the brewing background it doesn't seem silly to me to buy water thats better than what I have coming into the house.
  11. I have been looking around. Honestly I am nervous about the repair process. Tirerack would be so easy, I would get new tires too. They would arrive Roadforce balanced and ready to go. But can't find a wheel that I like for $175 I need to remind myself that this is a DD not a show car. BTW! I went to the car show today and the only detailer presence I saw was a bunch of people in Mothers shirts with detailer and microfiber towels and big dusters. What does it take for a company like adams to get in on that ?
  12. Sorry! 2014 Grand Touring
  13. I have played around with this before and I find it makes for an amazing wash. Suds are not the magic. It is all about lubrication and cleaning ability. My best washes have been with this: foam gun with a rinse Rinseless wash / waterlesss wash some kind of LSP It is an amazing combo! My goal is the cleanest paint possible in the least amount of time with out rushing it if that makes sense.
  14. They are stock. It is a 2014 Mazda6 nothing fancy. Yeah I can get them new for too many $$$.
  15. Ive got some curb rash that is driving me nuts. About $175 per wheel to repair. Should I repair or buy new? If I go new anyone have any brand suggestions to look at ... I am new to the wheel game. Thanks !
  16. Coin op and rinseless today!

  17. It's kinda like being mad that your favorite Burger joint sells veggie burgers as an option for those who prefer them. Just as long as Jason and I get our Amber Sandalwood fix everything will be cool.
