  1. I just recieved my fifth order in two years and still have not gotten any stickers yet to put on my tool box.
  2. I will be using LPS and topped with Americana when I get around to rebuffing my garage queens.
  3. Nice. Looks like they are holding up well.
  4. Man. I need to do this to mine. I've been using a old rag for now.
  5. Washed, trying VRT on my tires for the first time. APC and VRT on the side window moldings.
  6. Finally warm enough to wash outside yesterday. Starting with the hood. Clayed. Then tried my Liquid Paint Sealant, glazed and waxed with Americana. Also tried the VRT on the tires for the first time.
  7. Nice. I was in Vegas two weeks ago and ran out of time to get to the new store. I've been through the old store a few times and got to sign the wall.
  8. Yeah. That's what I'm affraid of. The lack of infrastructure to deal with the snow. When I go to leave. I didn't bring it with me. We've had one of the lowest amounts of snow on record, and 2014 set a record for no days below zero. Lol.
  9. Ok this is crap. Here's my vacation. I came down to find some warm sun. Snow in Vegas. Snow in Atlanta and South Carolina. Back home in Alaska it's been in the upper 30's and sunny, and all of our snow is gone. I have to laugh the SC snow. That the governor called in a national state of emergency on is nothing to us up there in the winter.
  10. On vacation in Vegas. Good times. Saw this BMW I 8.
  11. I'm so glad they don't use salt up here anymore.
  12. I'm pretty sure I could add one more bay with a loft but I need to double check what the city regulations are and if they changed. It use to be we were only allowed to have a percentage of house covering the property. I'm limited due to being on a 1/4 acre with all the utility easements. I can live with the extra bay, but want something bigger. Since we have a fleet of cars to maintain. Lol
  13. Yeah, a mild build red 01 ws6, 6 speed. Then the evil 98 TA, where the body and interior are the only things stock. I'd like to have a seperate shop on my property but I don't have enough room here. So that will drive the price way up unless I find a shop to rent. But renting one I'll have to drive to it. So it won't be close to home.
  14. Not sure if I'm lucky or not. She doesn't clean it that often usually a few times in the winter so there's usually a bit of work to do. That's the plan. I want either a deep 3rd bay with taller ceilings so I can get a lift and stack cars. Or figure out how and where I can get a nice big shop built. That will easily fit atleast 2 cars deep and 2 cars wide with enough room for cabinets, bench and still open the doors all the way. This is how I park cars right now. Then the Red Bird is to the right of the Black Bird.
  15. Frozen glass cleaner on the glass is pretty normal for me on my customer cars when they come in for rock chip repairs. It sucks. Ricky, your lucky you get to wash at above 32. Even though I hate to do it I'll do a drive through wash or if I have time I'll wash it at work, then it always goes straight out into freezing temps.
  16. It's hard for me too do. The cold won't hurt it but the snow means I have more work to do. Plus it's a small sacrifice to keeping her happy so I can have more then one bird. Until I can convince her to build a bigger garage that will fit more cars. lol. You got more snow then I did. I was thinking we both need bigger garages.
  17. Nice second gen. I wouldn't mind finding another one some day.
  18. Had to put a car outside to clean my girlfriend's expedition and went back out to this. Now I need to reclean it again.
  19. I've used news paper with a foaming glass cleaner with great results also. I haven't tried it with the Adam's glass cleaner yet.
  20. The funny thing is I grew up around Fords. There are a few rare Fords I wouldn't mind adding to the collection. I always liked how mean the WS6 birds were. So when I found my WS6 and that there was only 652 red t-top 6 speed cars built in 2001, I had to pick it up. Then I got the bug to go even faster and found the black TA. Then had some things changed to make into a fast street car before shipping it up from Indiana. The TBSS. I was looking all over the west coast for a red one, with no luck. But this low mile silver one owned by an older lady came into my shop and they were looking to sell. So I picked it up. The solstice Is my girlfriend's little summer toy. A friend of mine has a built and blown 05 GTO that runs low 11's. He just can't break into the 10 second barrier to save his life. lol
  21. 17 miles north of Anchorage. I fit the 3 cars and my snowmobile in the garage but I need a bigger garage to fit the daily drivers in too.
  22. The only way that's possible is if it is only a surface pit. If there is any fracturing you will need it filled. I also pressure check any impact to see if there may be any hidden cracks that you may not see before I tell a customer it doesn't need to be repaired. Also many insurance companies waive your deductible on chip repairs so you don't pay anything if you have full coverage or comprehensive on your policy.
  23. You can see if there are any Novus Auto Glass stores. I run one up here and fix 20+ chips every day.
  24. Thanks. The 98 TA replaced my big block, 4 speed, 74 restomod Camaro I was building. Up here, it's cheaper to build up or buy another car and ship it up then paying all the freight to try to make my 01 Ws6 even faster. So I'm lucky enough to have 2 of them.
  25. Thanks guys. I'm sure I'll be learning even more from everyone.
