  1. OMG bought one of the mf blanket, this thing is awesome!!!! Had Granddaughter over this weekend, which meant I got to sleep on the sofa while wife and granddaughter had the bed. I used the MF blanket, was warm as toast and now I want another. I think one could use it to dry an entire SUV, but it would weigh a ton when loaded with water. An 8 lb blanket is heavy enough, but add water and OMG who could lift it. My hat is off to Adam's for making this thing a reality!
  2. Waterless wash and detail spray on kitchen appliances, leather conditioner on leather furniture, glass cleaner and glass sealant on shower doors, VRT on window trim, odor neutralizer in house ( got two big dogs) APC for general cleaning everywhere. Lots of uses other than our cars!
  3. I have used both on leather sofa that the dog likes to sleep on and have had great results, better than the stuff the furniture store sold me.
  4. An update to post done in May. It has been all summer and my window trim is still white, not green with mold like the neighbors. One application of VRT, after cleaning with APC, has lasted all summer! Through sun, rain, and everything summer tree at it. I can’t wait until next year to do it again! My neighbor asked me why he gets green mold and I don’t, so I gave him a bottle of each( thanks to back stock from mystery boxes) now we will see if he uses it
  5. I adapted one of those rubber brushes to an old shop vac nozzle so brush and vac at same time. Seems to work on my Golden Retriever hair.
  6. How vintage is the Les Paul, if it's real old the scratches just add character and polishing out might lower its collector value. I know my TV yellow LP has really thin finish and I would be afraid to try and polish it with anything aggressive. The finish is more than likely lacquer, as most guitar companies used that years ago.
  7. Tried using my Cyclo once, prefer doing by hand as it's so easy to apply. The machine seemed like overkill.
  8. I hung a retractable cord reel from the ceiling of the garage right over my detailing area, no more extension cords to trip over.
  9. Mine is about 10-12feet, the 25 foot was was from another site.
  10. I agree with everyone here, best drying towels I have ever used. Old great whites are now dedicated to drying the dog when he goes swimming or gets a bath
  11. I hate spellcheck on iPad. Wish I had a VETTE, CANT fit dog and wife in a vette, so drive a cherokee
  12. Oh I wish I had a better, I drive a jeep cherokee. Ant fit my dog and wife in a vette
  13. I didn't notice a small spot on rear passenger door until out in sun, at the store. So here I am., the crazy guy with a single soft and detail spray, in WalMart parking lot polishing out the door. Of course, the guy with the perfect 2016 Vet with pristine paint gave me thumbs up. The people driving the old dodge caravan with Plastic wrap on the broken windows and enough dirt on the car to fill a playground gave me the " watch out, that guy is crazy" look.
  14. Wife came home from work Thursday and ASKED me to wash and detail her car!!!! She said " can I take your car to work tomorrow and maybe you could clean mine?" So yesterday did 2 bucket wash, clay, paint correction, LPS, Buttery wax, total interior and glass. Looks good as I wrap up. She takes it shopping today, I go out in garage after she gets home and, BIRD POOP on hood, fast food wrappers and garbage on passenger floor. I give up!
  15. As I get older(63 now) it's getting harder to see wax residue that I may have missed. Even in well lit garage, and checking from various angles. This is on white or other light colored vehicles. Why can't someone develop a wax, like Buttery, that hazes to a dark color for use on light colored vehicles. I would pay more if such a wax was available. Thoughts?
  16. I have used grey pads and my Cyclo to apply buttery wax, works great, nice uniform wax layer.
  17. Dog will have to stay in house now, but this is the only product he has ever shown an interest in, and he has been around Adams products every week since I got him in February. I would imagine most chemicals would not be good for either canine or human ingestion.
  18. No can't type worth a darn, should have been CLAY.
  19. Thanks if the dog could read he would thank you as well. Thanks to Mystery Boxes, I have plenty of the old as well, just wanted to try the new and didn't expect the dog to go nuts
  20. I have yet to meet the person who loves to clean glass. I use the green towels, either Adams glass cleaner, but I like the aerosol better, and brilliant glaze on inside. Clay the glass will help a lot as well.
  21. So today, after washing my car, I noticed some contamination that needed clay bar. So I did the whole car, during the flaying, I noticed a few tiny scratches, so got out the Cyclo and finishing polish on white pads. Of course that means no protection on the paint now, so switch to gray pads and get the bottle of NEW LPS. now the problem comes in, my dog is crazy for the scent of this stuff! He wants to eat the pads, lick the paint before buffed out, just plain crazy for the coconut scent. I had to put him in the house while I finished, he wasn't happy, as he has been my detailing companion for a while. He usually just lays on his rug in the corner and watches me, but not today! Even after done, and following a detail spray final wipe down, he still wants to lick the car. By the way the new LPS is awesome and really is easy on, easy off. Love the results, but may buttery wax, just for fun tonight. Just so everyone understands, the problem is really the dog not the paint sealant
  22. Leather seats in both our vehicles, so seats are easy. Leather conditioner is about all. Carpet is covered by husky liners, so take them out and clean well. Carpet is cleaned with steamer when it gets really messy, but for normal wear, carpet cleaner and single soft towel do a great job.
  23. My wife came home from work last night and asked me "how do you use that foam thing" she wanted to wash her car, as she noticed it was dirty. She has a white Hyundai Santa Fe and it hasn't been washed in 3 months. I was holding out on doing it until she noticed. We went out and I started to get out pressure washer,2 buckets, tire/ wheel brushes, soap, lambs wool pads, drying towels, H2O G&G, glass cleaner, when she said- I didn't know it was this big an ordeal to wash a car. Now, she has seen me wash and detail for years, but until SHE was going to do it, it wasn't a big deal. Somehow, I wound up doing it anyway while she talked to a friend on the phone. Oh well, at least it's looking good again. I've given up on holding out, I'm just going to keep it clean for her
  24. Almost done with garage remodeling and now I don't know if both the sign AND the banner will be too much. Wife thinks I'm nuts anyway as have spent more time organizing detailing supplies than on her projects, but got to have priorities, right?
  25. A few years ago my wife got me a mechanics seat, basically a riding lawnmower seat, on a pneumatic lift, mounted on a base with wheels, little tray underneath seat. It was from our local farm supply store. I haven't been able to break it yet! Another detail supply place, with initials GG, has a similar looking chair in their catalog, FYI. I would replace mine with an Adam's branded one if offered.
