  1. Welcome, I have used, in the past, some of the brands you mentioned. Once I found Adams, the other stuff went in the trash as every product I have used from Adams has been excellent, and the company can not be beaten as far as service and customer focus goes. Plus made in America product! You will be more than pleased with any product from Adams, as will your clients.

  2. I always forget about the energy savings, good point! Do yours seem a little shadowy? Have them at work, I think they're mounted to high, that would be hard to do in a home garage. Sorry for the post hijacking.

Ceiling height is 12 feet, I mounted three in front portion of garage (2 car garage) and 3 at back of space. All are ceiling mounted and no shadowing, not a perfect setup so I still have to use swirl finding hand held light, for up close paint inspection, but I'm not a pro so it works for my purposes. It's a heck of a lot better than the bare bulb incandescent lights the contractor installed when house was built. The one thing I am glad I insisted on was hot/cold water and floor drains in the garage. Since it's insulated, temp never drops below 45F, even today when it is only 9 degrees out.

  3. I had to repair a small rock chip in the windshield and used one of the do-it-yourself kits from the auto parts store. I used the one made by the company that also makes threadlocking compound and gasket stuff. The end result turned out very good, spot is barely visible and smooth with rest of windshield. My question - can glass sealant be used over a chip repair resin without issues? I like to keep windshield clean and sealed. Thanks in advance for responses.
