  1. Offshore Helicopter Pilot in support of the natural gas/oil industry. Times are kind of lean right now. I'm one of the few people who DON'T like low oil prices!
  2. I actually have one of those. My girlfriend!! Especially when I'm detailing her car... She's the designated "gallon shaker".
  3. Can the UV protective coating be re-applied? Google search comes up with several options.
  4. What about using Revive Hand Polish with the blue applicator? Might not be a full correction but maybe an option until you get a buffing machine. Then seal/wax/glaze or whatever to finish up.
  5. Awesome idea! I did this when I removed Buttery Wax and it worked really well. Definitely going to try this.
  6. Yeah I was having this same problem. I figured out if your pictures are rectangular, the forum software will always post them lengthwise. I ended up re-cropping my photos so they would be properly oriented inside the rectangle lengthwise and they will then post the right way. Geeezzz, I hope that made sense.
  7. OK Great. Really appreciate all the replies. I definitely plan on using H20 G & G on a monthly basis as a booster. I've never used a quick detailer in the past (always thought it was for show cars). I used Adams quick detailer the other day and I am in love with the stuff. Will be using it to dry my car from now on in between H2O applications. Awesome! Thanks again.
  8. Yay or Nay? Seems like this would work really well after a good wash. Spray on wet car like H2O and then dry?
  9. I thought these special MF towels for glass were a gimmick... until I tried one. They are the best towel I've ever used on glass bar none! I use one for the wet work and a dry one for buffing. Perfectly clean glass every time.
  10. I used the clear green window cleaner for the first time yesterday along with the microfiber cloths designed for glass. Totally clean and streak free crystal clear glass.
  11. I just used buttery wax for the first time yesterday. Even in direct sunlight it was really easy to apply and remove. It will leave a residue on rubber/plastic trim etc. but what I did was go over the entire car with a microfiber and detail spray as the very last step. I wet the microfiber with the detail spray and was able to easily get all the powdery residue off the trim and out of the cracks etc. Wiped/buffed with a dry plush microfiber as I went. Didn't take very long and the results are awesome! Good luck and post pics when your done please.
  12. My next big order will be all the interior stuff. Looking forward to trying the leather conditioner for sure!
  13. Thanks Gentlemen I have to say I was a little skeptical because of the prices but because of Adam's reputation I had to at least give it a try. Well, after trying just a few items I can definitely see that these are very high quality products and I will most likely be a lifelong customer. I also really like the fact that I can use one "system/brand" that accomplishes pretty much everything I need to. Makes it easier to order etc. I can't wait to get home and do a full correction. I'll do a write up with pics to help anyone else just getting started. Thanks again gents.
  14. Yeah. Unfortunately I'm fully involved... It's too late for me. Rich: Yes the Crystal Red really popped even with just the butter wax. You know the pics don't show the true beauty! Anyway, I'll be doing a full detail and correction when I get home next week. I just HAD to get something on this virgin paint now! I can't wait to see what the sealant looks like with a coat of Americana on top!
  15. Well, my new Camaro got her first taste of Adam's products earlier today. I'm at work out of state so I wasn't able to do a full correction. Started with a good wash, only had one bucket but thankfully I did have a grit guard. Did the wheels first. Emptied and cleaned bucket and washed the car with Adam's Car Shampoo. Awesome stuff. Dried the whole car and used Detail Spray to get bugs minor junk off paint. Also, clayed all the exterior windows to prep for glass sealer. Then applied Butter Wax 2 panels at a time and then removed. I was in full sun but it wasn't hot outside, panels were warm to the touch but not hot. Butter Wax performed unbelievably easy. Then I went over whole car with Detail Spray to clean up any wax residue etc. Last step was to clean windows with the green glass cleaner. This stuff is amazing! Finally used glass sealant on windshield. Slicker than glass! Pun intended. Anyway, I'm fully hooked. That Detail Spray definitely impressed me the most and will be purchased by the gallon from now on! Amazing stuff for sure. O.K. Well, time for another order. Here's the results of a simple wash and butter wax:
  16. Geeezzz... Don't feel bad. I've been out of the hardcore detailing scene for over 5 years. Totally lost when I started doing research. Until I got here that is! First time in my life I actually WANT to get out and detail my car. Can't wait to try most (all?) of these Adams products.
  17. OK Great. Thanks Chris. Forgot about the microfiber orange pad. Probably going to need it! Sounds like a good plan. Going to be a few weeks but I'll take some progress pics and post them here. Thanks again.
  18. 2010 Toyota Corolla. Girlfriends car. Infamous Toyota single stage white, highly neglected, heavily oxidized. Not waxed or polished in the last few years, if ever! Going to start with a good wash and clay bar to get everything cleaned up. Will Paint Correcting Polish, orange pads and a porter cable be able to fix heavy oxidation? We (yeah she's going to help) will then polish, seal and wax to finish everything up. She's going to owe me BIG TIME!!! Thanks
  19. Isn't that the truth? I know where every tool is, screw, nut , washer, you name it. Go ahead and take something or move it and I'll know it immediately! Funny...
  20. Yeah... This is crazy. My OCD has reached a whole new level.
  21. What's wrong with you guys? You're damn garages are too CLEAN... Making me feel bad. Now I gotta go clean/re-arrange my garage! And get better lights... Geeezzz!
  22. That's funny right there! Fortunately I live in the panhandle. Not many blue haired "snowbirds" where I'm at.
