    New SUV

Well I traded in the Raptor so I can save for a house. I picked up this instead. My fiancée and I are pretty happy with it! But as far as Adams Polishes is concerned and as you can see, this vehicle is white, as opposed to the black Raptor I used to have. I still think black shines the best after a good clean, but then again, white doesn't appear to show as much filth. And because of this, I did my first Adams treatment yesterday. I didn't know what type of protection, sealant, etc the dealership had used so I strip washed it, clay barred, applied paint sealant, and also cleaned and sealed the glass. Interior has cloth seats but I also had the windows tinted yesterday. Next wash of course will be HGG and I still need to seal the wheels. But here's my girl.
  2. As some of you may know, I have a tux black Raptor, and as much as I love to see that paint sparkle, I'm just as content rolling down a back road at 80mph. Well in Florida, the clay and dirt stains really bad and trying to keep up with the staining on my frame is a losing battle, especially right up near my Rogue bumper where the frame is exposed. It looks ugly and downright embarrassing when the rest of the truck is spotless. So a few weeks ago I sprayed the whole frame with in and out spray. I know it isn't necessarily a cleaner but damn it looked good. Then I figured maybe if I sprayed it with Under Carriage Spray, I might be better off. My question to you knowledgeable folk, was my brain in the right place? My truck is currently sitting for a few weeks while I'm out to sea, so am I going to go home to a faded, streaking, ugly frame? Or is there something I can do differently in the future to help clean it? (I've tried hand scrubbing, car wash shampoo, APC, etc.)
  3. Thanks guys! @mc2hill I'm located in central Florida, Lakeland to be exact.
  4. It's a never ending battle! With Dan's help, I go from one extreme to the other! He thinks I want his forum rep job because I'm always asking questions...
  5. Hey guys! I've been an Adam's fanatic for about 6 months now. I was converted by Dan, TheWolf, and never looked back. I've amassed almost every product, applicator, tool, cyclo, etc to the point where I have a bookshelf dedicated to all my treasure. Anyways, here's my shelf just of my SPARES, and here's my ride! Happy detailing
