  1. Mine has the rocker switch, has maybe 2 hours of use on it and I'll sell it to you with all the pads, brush, and polish. Just PM me if you're interested.
  2. US Merchant Marine Engineer! Here's some eye candy for ya'll. Worst sea conditions I've ever ridden through! Hopefully there's some more merchant marines here.
  3. Hello from your southern neighbor! Lets see pics of the ride!
  4. Thanks everyone! Tyler shipped out my gallon today, as promised, with free 2 day shipping as the icing on the cake! It'll be here before my mystery box arrives! Adam's most definitely is one of the best companies out there, with fantastic employees.
  5. Black is definitely brutal when you live in New England. I bought a black Raptor in Maine and when I finally traded it in for a white 4Runner, I was pleasantly surprised with how much less work it took to keep clean. But black looks the best when clean, for sure.
  6. Wow, thanks Tyler!! This was an awesome idea, and a good way to see everyones cool rides in one place too! I'll send you along a PM, thanks again!
  7. Welcome Tyler! Thanks for all your hard work in the shipping department, as you've probably packed at least one box for everyone on here. I have no idea how, but it seems you guys have a nearly perfect packing history. Here's my new 4Runner, freshly Adamized!
  8. I'm the same as Pirahnah3. I've acquired them over time on a needed at the time basis. But I don't like to reuse towels at all. When I finish a good detail, I have a small mountain of used towels to clean. With that being said, my favorites are the Gray Borderless for my HGG, Double Softs (or Triple if you have them) for my Detail Spray finishes, LOTS of Glass towels, Blue Waffle towels for all my interior work, as well as my wheel and tire work, and a large Drying Towel. It took me a while to discover the usefulness of the Blue Waffle Towel since it isn't really associated with anything, but dang it's a diamond in the rough.
  9. You'll be amazed on how much better your own detail will visibly look when you're done. I bought a new white SUV and after my own Adam's strip and detail, I was able to see a difference. Not to mention the peace of mind!
  10. I have a single 16oz bottle of the apple that I'm saving til it needs to be used.
  11. Lol yes. Even with 65% humidity on an average day, the mid day 100+ degree heat index really throws a wrench in the detailing works. Even in the morning or late afternoon, I only HGG one side of the car at a time. Luckily my fiancee helps me out so I don't have to work at the speed of light to get it done right.
  12. I love the Interior Detailer. When I had my Raptor, everything was leather so I used the Leather and Interior Detailer. But now that I have a 4Runner with cloth seats, I use the Interior Detailer on the dash and center console and it's always worked perfect for me. I tend to use it quite heavily and have to wipe down my car at least 2-3 times a week (dogs). But I always use a fresh blue waffle towel.
  13. Yeah I live in Florida and we always wash early morning or late afternoon, and park in the shadows of the garage/house. I feel your pain lol.
  14. Wow I guess I'm the only one that really likes the older style towels! I still have a few new ones in the bag so it'll be awhile before I can make the jump to the newer style
  15. I bought a new white 4Runner last month, and the second day I had it after the dealership had freshly "detailed" it, I strip washed with Car Wash Shampoo and APC, clay barred, and used LPS on the paint and wheels. A couple days later after it's next wash, I used HGG on the paint and wheels, and topped off the paint with Patriot Wax. I also used Glass Cleaner and Glass Sealant all around. Needless to say, water still beads up on the paint and water runs right off the windows. I love it. Detailing your vehicle really gives you a sense of accomplishment.
  16. I believe putting Americana over HGG would help a little with some added depth and gloss. Personally, I like to apply Patriot over my H20 G&G.
  17. You have an entire bookshelf dedicated to your Adam's supplies.
  18. I didn't even know they had an Ebay store! I'm going to use it to stock up on the now retired window washing towels!
  19. If you're doing a strip wash for clay barring and sealant purposes, you should add in 3-4 oz of APC so you can strip off all the old wax and sealants to start fresh.
  20. Hopefully they make more of the pumpkin spice! Definitely my favorite and I still have a gallon from last year
  21. I've never gone longer than a month without an HGG application, so when I saw this tonight, I just had to snap some pics. Impressive product.
  22. I happen to be one of those people that probably use HGG "too often" if there's such a thing, but it's been about a month and a half since my last application. I've washed the car and dried with Detail Spray approximately 5 or 6 times since then. With that being said, here's some pics after a light Florida rain shower this afternoon. HGG is some pretty amazing stuff!! Sorry for the sideways posts :/
  23. It's about time you joined, Nick. Welcome! The Adam's frenzy is real
  24. Partially reviving this thread because I didn't want to start a new one, but I had a similar experience with this new Tire and Rubber Cleaner. I only ordered a 16oz at first to try it, and honestly I was really disappointed after my first use. I have the Adam's blue tire brush and I scrubbed quite hard during the first application. The soap was really brown and I thought I was doing great. Finished up the tires and wheels, then did the paint wash and dried. Went out later and noticed my tires were still brown. Not quite as brown, but brown. Almost had a scratchy look to them and looked terrible. So instead of applying the tire shine then, I wanted to try another Tire and Rubber clean. So today I did another wash, approximately a week later after my last application. Again, I went through the same process of applying and scrubbing with the blue brush, and after the SECOND application with now half the bottle gone, the soap was still really brown. But once I finished and dried off the rubber, they were much more black this time. So then naturally, I applied the Tire Shine and off I went. After giving this whole thing a little more thought, I realized that these tires are new as I purchased my SUV not too long ago and that because of that chemical on the tire, it must have just needed a little attention. Overall, now that I've seen the desired result, the Tire and Rubber Cleaner is an excellent product, and I'll need to buy the gallon next since it's so easy to use a bunch of it all at once.

    New SUV

Thanks everyone! Oddly enough I have no regrets trading in the Raptor. The T4R is a damn nice ride. Anybody have any special tips at really making white shine? It seems to be easier than black, that's for sure.
