  1. Mine's at home waiting for me to get back from work in a couple weeks. With my 4Runner, that rear visor holds a ton of water and always runs down my back window for hours after I've dried it and it looks terrible. I can't wait to give the orange blaster a whirl!
  2. I use Interior Detailer religiously and don't mind the smell at all. Pass it along if you don't want it! Leather Conditioner smells awesome to me too, but the little air fresheners only last a day so I stopped buying them.
  3. Nice truck! But you're right... black is a killer color, good and bad. I traded in a tux black Raptor for a Super White 4Runner and i've never been happier regarding detailing purposes. But when you clean up that black, damn it's a beauty!
  4. Usually the only HGG I get on the windows is overspray. I don't like it because it always smears, so I always end up using Glass cleaner as a final step regardless, especially to get into the corners and the upper part of the windows. But I stripped and clayed all my windows not too long ago and applied the glass sealant all around, so I'm not sure HGG gives me any added protection anyways.
  5. I'd be interested in one with an extendable handle. Then I could stand in front of my 4Runner's hood and get the roof. I can't tell you how many times I've almost slipped off my running boards when washing up top.
  6. Definitely try their new Tire and Rubber Cleaner. You may need to apply and scrub twice like I did, but it'll clean your tires right down to bare rubber. Then apply the VRT.
  7. Wow that looks amazing!! Great job man!
  8. Last spring cleaning, I took out a whole trash bag of turtle wax products lol. Just message Dan, as I think he said shipping had a few orange ones laying around still.
  9. That's awesome! Did you have to scrub the wheel at all, or did you just apply the WC and rinse off?
  10. Welcome! I really like that color on your Jeep.
  11. This makes me miss my black Raptor a little bit... but then I realize how much less time it takes to do a thorough detail on my white 4Runner and it makes me smile again! Beautiful truck, Dan! This thread is what started my Adam's addiction back on the Raptor forum.
  12. I like applying with the microfiber pad as well because it leaves nice rectangular coverage, and it's easier to get into corners.
  13. I have one and honestly I prefer the wool pad over the mitt. I wish I hadn't gotten the mitt as it was expensive and I never use it anymore. It never seems to get as soapy as the pad, it's a drag to use, and takes forever to dry. Lately I've gone back to the wedge anyways. But that just my own personal opinion. Seems most people love it. I might throw mine in the pay it forward thread eventually.
  14. I'm thinking of getting a single new towel to clean the insides of the windows with. I have like 6 blue ones, all in decent shape so I can't just toss them for an upgrade.
  15. Dan, if you can see if they have any other colors laying around, I'd appreciate that. I'd definitely grab it from you guys. I don't have anything against white, but when I saw that orange last year, I just thought it looked much better. Anybody that says they aren't picky about color on random things, is lying lol. And does it have to be Adams brand? Yes. All the rest of my stuff says Adams on it, and I'm supporting a fantastic company with great customer service, so why not.
  16. All good ideas, thanks guys. I'll try calling Adams first and see what they suggest, then go from there. Lol I have nothing against white, I swear!
  17. I really want one. Like really really. But I don't want a white one. Can any Adams guys on here tell me if they plan on coming out with a different color any time soon? I should have bought the orange one last year but my Adams addiction was just starting and I was buying up many other things. Any info would be awesome!
  18. Scott! Another FRF guy has joined us! Too bad he's Canadian.... Hahah just kidding buddy. Welcome!!
  19. First time that I've ever won anything. Thanks Tyler!
  20. I had a black truck before my current white SUV, and it's ridiculous how much more effort you need to put in to make black look good lol. I was doing full detail washes a couple times a week. After a while while daily driving, I found myself avoiding small puddles after a rain because of the dirty water it kicks up all over your vehicle. Although at the end of the day, a clean black vehicle is the best looking vehicle, IMO.
  21. I just realize it's a losing battle and only vacuum the carpets once in a while. I usually only spend time wiping all the free hair off the doors and seats, and then washing all the nose and tongue marks off the windows. I think i'd rather pay somebody to detail the carpets lol.
  22. Thanks! I picked up the Interior Detailer. I've been using lots of it recently because I wipe down my car 3-4 times a week because of dog hair lol. I have 8 gallons of product and ID wasn't one of them.
  23. Wow that's incredible!! I agree, nothing looks better than a polished black vehicle!
