  1. With every other towel except the borderless greys, I use out of the package with no linting. Not sure it it's the laser cut with no border but even the greys seem to lint now and then. I usually give them a quick shake before I start using them to get any loose lint off.
  2. Very likely but also saw the linting on the paint as well. I'll try washing them again. All 4 of the orange towels I have did it on various areas of both cars that were washed today. I also discovered that the Pumpkin Spice Detail spray will turn your white towels orange...lol
  3. Anyone having linting issues with the orange towels? When I used one inside just after receiving them it was listing all over the mirror and counteracts while I was using it to smell up the house. Figured okay, these towels actually need a wash before use. Washed in warm water alone with MBR and then dried alone on low heat. Same way I wash every other towel. Used these today while drying with Pumpkin Spice detail spray and was welcomed by orange lint, mainly visible on the windows. Thinking they need another wash or two. Any one else experience this?
  4. Interested in what coating you use. Feel free to PM me. Great work you do. I'm also interested to get an idea of what you charge to do these corrections?
  5. Just purchased an orange one. Looking forward to trying it out myself
  6. This is 10 days since wash and wax application using foam gun with 2 bucket wash and detail spray drying aid. It has been misting all day here in NY with about a 25 degree temp drop.
  7. Finally pulled the trigger on a GreenWorks 2000psi pressure washer and just placed another order that included a foam cannon. chose these two over the master blaster, thinking that will wait until the new year.
  8. Was my original plan. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that. I like rinseless for quick touch up work and as an interior cleaner for really dirty cars.
  9. My only thought was to remove and strip any of the loosened material off the vehicle and let the strip wash remove as much as possible. I may decide to skip the first strip wash and just use wheel cleaner to remove any fallout and contamination before the clay bar then strip wash to remove any residue and have a bare surface to start polishing if needed
  10. I keep hearing about quick sealant...will there be a replacement or reformulated version coming out anytime soon?
  11. My plan when I start the detail process on my girlfriends new '17 Explorer XLT is this: Strip wash Clay Strip wash Dry Figure out what it needed in terms of paint correction, hoping only a one step correction. LPS Americana BG After a few weeks I'll do a H2OGG application
  12. Try to wash it out with some vinegar and some woolite. I'd either wash it alone on gentle or let it soak in a bucket. Should cut through the smell
  13. From a few weeks ago but this was after the first application of H2OGG and then it rains the next morning.
  14. Opened my labor day order. No frisbee but recieved a bonus great white drying towel, which is even better than a frisbee.
  15. Did my first Daily driver detail with Adam's H2OGG. I of course picked a day that is windy, 85 and full sun with no shade available. Results were more than acceptable for my first time using the product considering I couldn't do it in the shade.
  16. It was the inside of the glass that i was cleaning but no, i have never clayed the inside glass just the outside, which they worked pretty well on
  17. Used them yesterday on my cruze. That glass is pretty grabby with every MF towel I have ever used, including this new adams towel. I feel I may have used too much Adam's Glass cleaner and that didn't make any difference, I could even fold the towel to what the finishing side on the opposite side of the towel and it was already damp. Still was able to get a streak free finish though, just took some towel repositioning in my hand.
  18. So where is a recommended place to get one? They aren't on the site anymore and the two options on amazon have terrible reviews
  19. Hello, Looking to gather info on products, techniques and new products. I currently drive a rather neglected '12 Victory Red Chevrolet Cruze w/ 1LT RS. I've previously just used mainly automatic car washes, even ones with the dreaded spinning brushes. This will be my test for when I make my first purchase, which will likely come after the next mystery box goes on sale and then I recieve it. I've watched just about all of the product demo videos on YouTube, just hoping to get some feedback on what works well. I've always enjoyed detailing on my other cars but between nursing school, and not really liking this car as much as previous cars lead to my neglect. Plan is to get proficient before I purchase my first new car, which I like to think of as a blank canvas.
