  1. Try putting it on even thinner and waiting longer. What you are seeing is that the wax has not fully cured, waxes contain solvents that give it the ability to be spread, liquid wax has even more than a paste (most cases). You are just seeing some spots where the solvents have not fully evaporated. Try doing what I do, put it on and go have lunch then go back and take it off. But the key is getting it really thin :2thumbs:

And don't be worried about leaving it on too long, it's not like a paste wax

hmm maybe i just wasnt waiting long enough. sounds good ill give it a try!

  2. Here is a good spoof on the Ken Block vids.

    that was intense!

  3. What did you do for the H2s and how long did each thing take you? I'm trying to work faster or more efficiently but it's hard. I'm used to taking my time and making it perfect. I don't want to over charge just because I work slower.

thats exactly how i feel, i dont want to over charge somebody just because taking my time means it will come out better. But i guess depending on how bad the car is, the longer it will physically take. ie. scrubbing/cleaning/working the paint. Rushing never seemed to help with me. always omes out horrible. thats why i always will start a full detail in the morning, therefore i dont have to rush because of the sun as much.

  4. Hey Frank,

I was thinking more of polishing than cleaning.

I can buy a good soft paint brush at the hardware store to clean, but my thought was an easier way to polish the lug nut & tight area on the wheel around the lug nut. So, I suggested something like a socket shape lined with MF that you could spin with a drill dabbing metal polish on the MF lined socket.

i know exactly what your talking about. maybe if you take a peice of PVC Pipe and glue some microfiber to the inside/outside. and some how rig a stick to it to allow it to be attached to the drill??
