  1. Versatile how? They both have the same throw but the Pro is smoother and quieter.
  2. How soon I forget?! You're right, thanks for keeping me honest. Adding a couple of ounces probably won't hurt, but the new formula is more aggressive than the old so just use a bit more caution. Sorry for any confusion.
  3. You can uae the Towel and Pad Revitalizer but I don't reuse them on paint if I do wash them. Any coating that cured in the fibers could scratch. They also probably won't absorb very well. Bottom line, use them for dirty jobs or toss them.
  4. @Johnny You can use Strip Wash or Graphene Shampoo. I don't recommend adding APC to your soap, it's pretty aggressive comparatively speaking and may cause issues if it dries on the surface. Also, no, the Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating (Advanced) is a true ceramic coating. The Graphene infused items as referenced on the website are water based toppers.
  5. The blue Compound and white Polish are optimized to use with the color coded pads. The ones you show are for Paint Sealant/Wax (red and grey), the old Correcting Polish (orange) and, while I don't recognize it, heavier cut (orange and black). You could probably use the orange ones with Compound but results will vary. You'll need new white foam pads for the Polish.
  6. I will say if you bought it years ago, the shelf life is usually only a year or two so a new one may do you well, anyway.
  7. It happened a few years ago, at least, and I can try to find the date from our chemist if you really need it. But I'm pretty sure the bottle also had verbiage about including protection, maybe on the front and/or in the instructions. The references were removed when the new formula came out, though. Read the bottle carefully and you should be able to tell. Meantime I'll ask our chemist...
  8. Here's an article that explains the entire process from prep to application.
  9. Welcome, Truman! If you're interested to know more about Adam's and be trained by us while opening the doors to our exclusive Professional Grade Graphene Ceramic Coating, check out this course - the Adam's Shine Academy. https://adamspolishes.com/pages/shine-academy
  10. I didn't realize you only wanted to use the rotary function, but it's not a really powerful machine so I don't know for that it'll work as you may expect. The SK Mini/SK 12mm Pro are much better suited to using a 3.5" pad, but there's no rotary. Adam's only sells DA machines, at least right now.
  11. I would not recommend using a larger backing plate, you could prematurely wear out the bearings on the machine. I also question the results you'll get. But it's your money!
  12. Switch to the Graphene infused lineup and you should be fine...
  13. Wow, autocorrect really did a number on my reply. I meant to say the machine will only fit the backing plate it comes with "or" the rotary attachment, and do not use 3" pads "on" the existing backing plate (that comes with the machine). What other info are you looking for? Which plastic type threading? I have the polisher but don't remember any plastic threads. Any pictures of what you mean? Yes, microfiber will cut more than blue foam. You'll likey need to finish with the white foam and Polish.
  14. The Micro will only fit the backing plate it comes with of the rotary attachment. Do not use 3" pads with it or the existing backing plate!
  15. First, welcome to our forums! Don't worry, all is not lost! Here's a video link to the process for how you can correct those high spots. Don't necessarily pay attention to the time lines as much as the steps involved. Luckily, the spray coating is easier to fix than the small bottle. Let us know if you have any questions, we are here to help!
  16. This should help for cleaning. To protect, Fabric Protector can be used, instructions should be on the website.
  17. Bottom line, ask the body shop how long you should wait. Most new paint jobs even if they are cured in that type of process will need weeks if not months. If you apply it too soon, yes it could adversely affect the curing.
  18. That soap should be fine since it's pH neutral and leaves no added protection. I think the issue is the drying aid. While it's a "ceramic" wax, it doesn't have the same overall properties as the Graphene coating so you're essentially masking it. You can use Strip Wash to help take it down to the bare coating, and then use something from the Graphene infused lineup on the website as your topper. Graphene Detail Spray every couple of weeks, for example.
  19. It's best to use Graphene Shampoo about once a month to unclog it, and some like Mage Foam or Car Shampoo in-between. What drying aids are you using? How often? What type of soap are you using?
  20. I would definitely recommend only applying it indoors. Moisture of any kind, even dew, can cause issues if it settles on the car before it cures. Can you borrow a garage from a friend or neighbor, maybe? You could use the spray coating and only need to wait 4-6 hours as an alternative.
