Great question and with the amount of great products it’s tough to choose. I have a black ceramic coated zl1(9H ceramic pro coated 1500$ Bronze package) vehicle which I have found reacts really well to ceramic waterless wash and the graphene detail spray. Regular waterless wash really shines also. I find I have to do small sections at a time. Apply and buff with different towel.  I used ceramic boost and the product ceramic pro gave me and neither went on well for me.

good luck - black is tough to keep clean!  I’m touching my girl every night 😝

asaintsfan got a reaction from Captain Slow in Got a SK a couple of months ago - now what??
So  I put down a ceramic coat on my  camaro about 13 months ago. Ive done the CB and laid ceramic paste wax on it a few times.  Also BG and constantly WW and CB so I got a 22 SK for my birthday but Ive been hesitant to use it.  Ive got all the pads and the polishes.  My question is - Now what do I do ?  The car looks great when shined up but I can see small scratches and swirls in the paint.  Do I use the SK with the polish? Ive looked at a few videos but I see they are for paint correction.  Do I use the SK on certain parts of the car then lay another coat of CC?  Just very confused as to what my next step is with this expensive gift. Ive read the writeups in the Adams forum about polishing but still confused.

Any guidance advice or directions are extremely appreciated ahead of time!

I like this suggestion. The wife just got home and I checked the paint again and it really looks good. So we shall see how long it goes. It is a DD but stays in the garage at both work and home.

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Ok let me first start by saying that if you detail cars for a living - you are a friggin bad *** person!!!  GOOD LAWD!!

So i started on friday night to detail the new Yukon.  When I layed a ceramic coating on the camaro it took me about 8 hours and that was without a SK.  All by hand.  Nontheless I set out on a friday night in the hot NOLA weather.  It was 5:30 and heat index of 105 but I was in the shade.  Did the following friday night

Foam Wash - (unnecessary I know)
    Strip Wash
    Iron remover
    Clay while wet (holy crap)
    Towel dried
Done for the night - took a little over 3  hours

Next day I wanted to get up and get it done before the heat of the day so I was up at 6 and started at 7am

    Revive polish (by hand)
    Paint sealant
VRT to trim (half assed this step)
    Coating prep
    Ceramic Liquid Coating

I was done at 2:30.  7.5 plus the 4 hours from friday night.  GOOD GAWD!!! Heat index was at 107 by then.  I was under shade though.  The CC was sticking at certain points but nothing the BG didnt get out.

Next day - the wife layed the CB on the Yukon
Then later in the day I hit it with some BG which made it pop to no end.  (Picture is before the BG)

Needless to say - every part of my body is sore.  Keep in mind I am 55 years old and I run and workout every day but doing this yukon put me on my ***!!  I was in the rack by 8pm that night.

Yukon looks good and glad we got it coated but I may pay a professional next time for this mastodon of a vehicle.  Meanwhile the camaro is begging for a wipe down!!

Thanks all for the great advice and once again to all you MASTER DETAILERS out there - I bow before you!! You are all better people than me!!!

I gotta get that SK man - I have to.

Here's a pic of the yukon - pic doesn't do it justice.

So I’ve been using Adams products for a year on my smoking hot 2017 Camaro. It looks great. I’ve used the Americana wax, patriot wax, BG, buttery wax, h2o gg, detail spray and ceramic boost. I constantly use waterless wash between washes.  Car looks awesome I get compliments all the time. So I purchased the ceramic wax kit last week to step up my game but have been hesitant to use it .  I’m waiting on my strip wash and clay kit to come in tomorrow. I’ve never stripped the car since I’ve owned it and my question is to the process of what I should do.

    this is what I plan

    strip wash with foam gun
    iron remover
    clay
    ceramic wax kit
    ceramic boost

Do I bother with BG or buttery in the process? Or add them at the end in which order?  Also, once you put ceramic wax on the car do you still use Americana or patriot wax now and then?

so confused. Any help and guidance would be great. I’ve got a garage full of products and it’s like I want to put everyone of them on the car.

then what?  Do I still use GG and DS or CB or WW
