  1. We spend a lot of time, especially if the topic is ceramic, discussing protection and performance and durability and easy cleaning and bla bla bla. But what if we only talk about looks. Throw every other factor out the window but looks. What would your last step, top product be? I’m talking no cleaning, no dual purpose — applied to a perfectly corrected and prepped surface.
  2. Is it worth the difference? I have a standard on the way, but Christian is letting me swap it out with a credit towards the premium. Do it? Worth the small price diff?
  3. I think the sprayer was pretty clean. I ran about three bottles of water though it playing with the optional jets before I put a product in it. I don’t think the WW liked being aerated. Not to change gears too bad, but does BG remove or degrade ceramic coating? I mean after all, the stuff can remove high spots.
  4. Soooo, I stopped in the middle of frustration and let it be. Started fresh this morning and started from scratch with a normal bucket and shampoo wash. That took the spotting waaay waaaay down. Almost faded it completely away. Weird part is this worked on the paint but not on plastic parts, which are painted and ceramic coated as well (fender trim, door handles, etc). On these spots, a once over with brilliant glaze got the stains off. All back to normal. Note to self and anyone else…don’t use WW in anything foaming. That was really weird.
  5. Weellll, here’s a new one for the archives. Needed to do a rinseless wash today on the white truck. I just got a new ik foam pro 2 bottle, so I thought I’d try something out… In the past, I’ve always pre-treated bugs and dirty spots with WW to soak the bugs and dirt before doing a rinseless or waterless wash. So I thought I’d try putting some WW in my foam pro 2 bottle and try it out on pre-treating those areas. Fast forward, everywhere I sprayed WW with the bottle stained the absolute f$&@ out of the white paint. Now what???? It won’t come off. WW nor shampoo will get it off. I’m sure a mechanical step will take it off, but not really in the mood to go polishing to fix this and have to redo the ceramic. And yes, it’s stained with current ceramic coating layer. Any bright ideas how to treat this. I suck at pics, so I tried to get a shot of it. It’s subtle, but it’s for sure there if you look at the pic just right.
  6. Ya knew this question was coming, so I’ll take one for the team, LOL. Sooo, what’s gonna be the difference between these two, and where/how would you use them differently or not use them?
  7. Soooo, I got a 50' zero g. It seems to be a pretty darn nice hose. I got it for travel, but this sucker may end up replacing my 100' rubber hose currently in the garage. The light weight and all are appealing.
  8. I found the zero G and it gets some pretty great reviews. Technically the zero g is not a collapsible hose, it just sucks flat under no pressure. 50’ is still 50’. That’s solely just FYI for readers. I’m looking for travel convenience. But I still wanna check that one out because of reviews.
  9. Adam’s used to have a collapsible hose on their site that would be perfect for travel. Don’t see it anymore. You guys recommend a good one? Or is this one of those items just grab one at a hardware store and be done with it?
  10. You can have my regular WW when you pry it from my cold, dead hands! This will be the last product to go. Easy, versatile, love it. I do have CS3 and use that on the wheels cause I feel like that area benefits the most from maybe a touch more protection every application. I don’t even own a product labeled “glass cleaner” because of WW. But if I’m not cleaning, my go to has become graphine DS. But that’s only because I can’t get C&C DS anymore. I gave graphine CS3 a try and didn’t like it as good as regular CS3 nor WW. Slight streaking or something for me. Just meh. And like you, became no need to keep all these products.
  11. Additionally, if you’re trying to use both of these in the same wash, you’re doing a couple things here…you’re overthinking what/how many products to use on your car, and you wouldn’t use a ceramic coating over anything. The coating takes prep. The detail spray is the only product you’d use after a wash as maybe a drying aide or shine booster.
  12. Weeellll, bit of an old thread, but worthy of an update. As much as I hated my blotchy tires, decided to roll the dice on another set. Either got lucky or Conti listened. This set has perfect sidewalls. No blotchy finish or crap that won’t clean off. Clean up and dress perfectly.
  13. Yes, as stated, the test is not with a glove or your finger, but how a towel drags across it. How does it rub (or not rub) off? If you're letting it sit for 10+ minutes, you also probably need to be going back over it and looking for high spots. that's quite a chunk of time. It's working, you're just not catching it.
  14. Rainbow can be hit or miss, but tackiness is a for sure. Did you shake the bottle well? How long did you give it to set up? Sounds like you may be looking or wiping away waaayy too soon. There's just no way you went 10 minutes in those temps and didn't get some sticky coating. Your "sticky" meter is off, LOL.
  15. ^^^This, this, and this^^^ After learning this trick with the interior detailer, there’s no going back. It also dries dry, so dust and such doesn’t stick to it like it would with a product that might otherwise be greasy or leave a film.
  16. Which soap would be the best to try in that one? I get it, it’ll never be a cannon, but I want to give it the best effort possible. I just don’t have a pressure washer yet, and like I mentioned, with my water pressure I might just give one a try.
  17. So lets talk about the two foam gun options; standard and premium. Now, I'm trying to be realistic about these things because I believe it's fair to say, you will never ever get the foam from one of these like you will a cannon and a pressure washer. So, I welcome the discussion. One main reason I'm even considering one of these as an option is because I actually have downright stupid crazy water pressure at my house in the hose. How much is that a factor? Or am I still living a pipe dream that these make serious foam?
  18. Actually, that's my bad...I actually meant to title this thread Rinseless. Which, I had not heard it's a replacment, so that makes a little more sense. Title has been edited.
  19. I think the title says it all. What we got goin on here? What's the diff? What's the target audience? I've never raised an eyebrow at Adam's products, but what is this battle?
  20. Weellll weellll…look what just showed up in my local auto zone!!
  21. Here’s another one…lately I’ve been using APC on the laundry. It’s amazing. I’ve fixed soo many stained cloths that laundry products wouldn’t touch. Works soo good, I’m gonna get a bottle that’s just for laundry. Amazing.
