You're very kind to be detailing it before turning the lease in, I never even washed my cars upon turn in... I'd just HGG it at this point and call it good...

I was gonna say the same!  I traded in my old 2016 tahoe,  H2O and VRT On the tires,  obviously it was generally in great condition,  I worked them and got $47K for it.  They said it looked better than show room.

  3. I have never heard anything bad about it.  Everyone loves CWW.  I have been alternating, or using WW for heavier stuff.

I still have 2 jugs of WW, and just recently got a 12 and 64oz of CWW.

When I first got the CWW,  I tested alongside WW on my front bumper’s bug splatter.  They worked extremely similar and the CWW may have been a tad better at cleaning

  4. I cleaned the Tahoe up real nice like the other day.  Ultra foam bath, wash, wheels, tires, and all.  It was nasty after all this stupid rain...fast forward to today, I go to do a waxing of the new Ceramic Liquid Wax,  and the surface feels very rough and not smooth.  Under further investigation i see spotting.  Long story short, the over spray of ceramic boost while hitting my wheels the other day under windy conditions, blew the boost all over the paint and windows.  It took over an hour just to clean off 3 panels so far today.

Clay did very little, while scrubbing it with Brilliant Glaze has been helpful.  So for anyone who ever doubted CB, that **** is serious!

Going to try to remove it using itself... Ceramic Boost....and will report back.

I used a brand new Adams plush polishing towel as the second towel after spreading with a lower GSM microfiber towel

I use Adam’s Double Soft for application (wipe on, wipe off) just like DS.  There is basically no need for a second towel, when I do this.

    This is also Adam’s recommendation

I use this on my coated Tahoe with flawless results

I use this on my wifes NON coated Honda with 99% flawless results,  once in a while I will get a high spot at the edge of my spreading area, some waterless wash, and it’s gone.

The weather has finally turned decent in Northern Ontario and I brought all my gear out today and gave my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado High Country a good thorough cleaning today.

A little background, I started using Adam's Polishes products last year and quickly became addicted.  I have a pretty heavy supply of all kinds of Adams Polishes products now.  I had great luck last year cleaning up my truck, it never looked so good from the wheel and tires up.

Today I followed my same procedure I've always followed since I started using these products to clean the tires, rim etc.  It's the same steps Adam shows in the videos.  The brake dust and sum of the grime came off, but there is still all kinds of residue on the rims.  In the barrels of the wheels there are, what appears to be, balls of black tar.  It also looks like some of that substance ran out to the outer area of the rims and it won't come off.  I aggressively tried to clean this with Adams Wheel Cleaner, a Turbo Stick, wheel woolie, Trim and Lug Nut brush, and the wheel brush. No luck.  I'm looking for suggestions on how to clean this up, it's driving me nuts.

Now, full disclosure, I did a lot of highway travel over the last few months and couldn't handle how terrible my truck looked, so I took it through a local car wash, which I now deeply regret.  It wasn't touch less and I believe it used some sort of cheap sealant in it's final step.  My paint is so scratched up and looks terrible.  I will now have to invest in all the paint correcting equipment and supplies.  Aside from those problems, is it possible I sealed some of this grime and whatnot to the rims?

Can someone suggest the best ways to try to take care of this.  The truck is too nice to not have the wheels looking top notch.

    Thanks Everyone

You made my cry a little bit...a brush car wash 🤦‍♂️

Ok ok ok I’m over it.

Pics of this tar would best.

    Could possibly try clay

May need a designated tar remover also

    ....a car wash!? 🤷‍♂️

  7. Honestly, I use to think that way.  I had a couple gallons of DS and all that stuff, and would always be washing and buffing etc.  But with a new baby in the picture, I purchased a new truck and coated it.  I still love on it and wash it a couple times a month.  A lof of products can still be used on coated vehicles, and they still need maintenance, and washing and drying are so much easier.  I love it and will never have a vehicle that isn’t coated.

Hello all new to the Adams forum... just relocated to Colorado from Wyoming and I went to the store and was hooked. Feel free to say hi!

Welcome, and consider yourself very lucky to live so close!

    what did you pick up?

  9. I did like the red caps!  My wife and I are thinking the Glaze smells like vanilla pudding.  I agree with you on the tire shine, it also appears to be the current tire shine, just a little thicker and different color to match Adam’s original blend when he mixed  those other products.  The Glaze is definitely a different blend, but i love it.  Hope its still ok for inside windows, because I went to town!  Also got the 2oz pouch of Ultra Foam in my box, little bonus there.
