  1. I would give an example.  Since I have not seen any Adam's MSDS, I do not know if this is used in any products,

I know some people are sensitive about using products that contain

Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (2-Butoxyethanol). It is used in some products like glass cleaners (know two detailing brands that use it) and other common household cleaners.

It is not considered really especially toxic but there supposedly workplace limits and has caused cancer in laboratory rats that were given 6 zillion gallons.  Therefore, some are concerned about it since if you happen to use in confined areas you exceed maximum safe dosages.  They would propose you use vinegar, etc, as a natural substitute.  If I was detailing inside of cars for extended periods, I may think twice about it.

  2. What is 'safe' is not a black and white answer.  That is why there are MSDS sheets so people can choose for products identified by the government.  California has chosen to have sellers identify products that contain certain substances (proposition 65) yet other states do not care.  This allows people to decide for themselves.  Product effects can take some time to occur.

  3. Do you also request MSDS sheets for your toothpaste, dishwasher detergent, and Mountain Dew in your fridge?

The MSDS sheets for many consumers products are readily available online.  I think they should be required and readily available without any pre-conditions despite the fact that people try to use them  for ulterior motives.

  4. I think a better way to discuss the heated air on the Master Blaster is to realize this machine uses 2280 Watts (19 Amps) or 50% more than a typical hairdryer or more than 4 500W Halogen lights. Like any power tool (think a DA), they are going to generate lots of heat automatically and this turns into an advantage (power tools are better when cooled since the air cools the motor) and translates into heated air.

  5. Not a good sign for American manufacturers.  I do think the idea of promotional sales (like when you do get hex grips in stock) that a have a limited offering (while supplies last) would help manage supply just people have seasonal blends of waxes, etc,

I have not heard much about Flex returns but I know handling any return on a heavy $300+ product is not cheap even if small numbers given the profit in them.
