Lime scale from water dripping through concrete
TexWalker replied to Rainbow1616's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Vinegar or something acidic. Maybe try the wheel cleaner? -
Explain the heat gun part, if you don’t mind. Does it pop out on its own or do you have to get behind and pop it out?

Wheel cleaner...best kitchen cleaning product around!!!
TexWalker replied to TexWalker's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
in haven't had good luck oth barskeep -
Ok, yes. The wheel cleaner isn’t the best smelling Adams product out there (that is clearly the ceramic boost), but we are mostly aware of how awesome it works on wheels. But let me bring some of you up to speed on it’s real magic. Went on vacation and had a friend house sit for us. They someone managed to leave quite a few rust stains in my stainless sink. I tried a dozen different things to clean them out to no avail. I was ready to pull out the steel wool and start really having at it when I decided to give the wheel cleaner a shot. Sprayed it on liberally and I ust like that, the rust turned purple and ran down the drain!!! My kitchen smells a little funny at the moment, but I’m extatic. Tomorrow. I order up a gallon!

Whatever it is, it looks delicious

This is why these forums are so awesome. Great people helping eachother out!!! I love it

Right?!?!?!? Adam and team make the best products. I’m convinced they could make an easier to use, better smelling version of scotch guard

The h20 guard and gloss is amazing. The suburban was washed and gg’d a week ago. The BMW tonight. Our neighbors are doing big construction making tons of dust and the black suburban still looks kick-@ss

I know things are out there. I’d just like to see an Adam’s version.

How do you know what the wheel cleaner tastes like? I opened my bottle of ceramic boost yesterday and took a sniff. I almost took a swig before realizing it was a chemical!!! Smells soooooo good. Makes me a bit worried to leave the bottles out around the kids or dogs

Scotch guard is the most common, but there is a new product called NeverWet that is pretty awesome. But I don’t think it will take the abuse car seats do. But Adam and his team make a killer product, I know they’d nail it

I have two very young children, 2 big dogs and a clumsy wife. My vehicles get pretty trashed with spilled liquids of all sorts on the seats and carpet. The seats in the suburban and the BMW are leather, so that helps a little, but the truck and the beater seats (not to mention all of the carpets in all the vehicles) get pretty toast. It would be awesome to have some sort of hydrophobic type spray that will prevent the absorption/stains of the spills...of all sorts. I know there are some newer sprays out there that work pretty well, but they don't smell great and, of course, aren't Adams! What do you think?

Adam's Foam Gun (the less expensive one)
TexWalker replied to mathews31's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
It could also be the adjustment nut on the back side. When you push the handle down, it pulls against a nut threaded onto the plunger stem. This nut, if too tight, could be preventing the plunger from fully seating, causing it to leak out of the front of the nozzle. Back the nut off a little and see if that fixes anything -
Adam's shipping charges
TexWalker replied to dpeck's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Dan, no apology necessary. It truly isn't that big of an issue. I was just pointing out my experience. I am still a big fan and will continue to be. But, at the same time, I wonder if the experience might be a detriment to those who aren't as fanatical about your products as I am. -
Adam's shipping charges
TexWalker replied to dpeck's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
It’s not really a Adam’s fault on shipping costs, in fact, when you think about the weight of some of these packages, it’s downright cheap. But I still hate paying $8 everytime. Especially because I usually forget something and have to place a second order later that day or early the next. That second $8 is a b*tch. I k ow it’s lile a stupid tax, but I don’t like paying it.
