About a week ago, my (admittedly outdated LG G3) phone died on me. Out of nowhere, the screen went blue and the phone shut down. It wouldn't turn on, wouldn't take a charge. Nothing. It was D-E-D, dead!
 
While I forgot to get a picture of my phone, here's what it looked like:

Dr. Google to the rescue! After a little research, I found this is fairly common with G3's. I came across multiple articles and videos describing how people applied heat to the motherboard as a fix action. Hair dryers, heat guns, and ovens, too. I thought no way that could work, but I'm not an electrical engineer. But the phone is essentially a brick, so what do I have to lose? Well, besides all the data I hadn't backed up in a little while.
 
Anyway, off to the kitchen!
 
Phone disassembled, motherboard laid gently on the cookie sheet. *No cooking spray applied.
 

 
Oven temp set at 350' (later reduced to 325', basically out of fear ), and timer set for 10 VERRRRYYYYYY LOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGG minutes.
 

 
A watched motherboard never broils...

Phone reassembled...press power button........wait.........no blue screen.......wait..........Verizon startup screen!......wait.........
 
YES!!!  I am back up and running, and - knock on wood - have been ever since. And there's even a little Adam's reflection on the home screen for your viewing pleasure.
 

 
I must admit I really thought I was being punked. But I'm not surprised at all to know there are plenty of smarter people than me out there. When in doubt, phone a friend!

I was at home depot the other day and they still have some...But I'm guessing someone messed up the price when snagged mine. I bought it just because it was $40, worked out better than I could've ever imagined. I really like the fold up side table, too.

$69 is still a great price.  If you are military you can get a 10% discount too...

I still love my Adam's cart, but that's a great alternative. And hard to believe that price!  Nice find!

No problem buddy!  Just give them a call!  It's not opened or worn.  They'll make it right for you.   Adam's is always  there for their customers.  

I agree, their customer service is amazing. Just don't want to put my mistake on them.

I'm fairly new to Adam's, and very new to the site. I was always a was and wax with whatever guy until I found Adam's and discovered there was so much more to it. I'm hooked and always looking to learn more. This is my daily driver truck with paint sealant and then buttery wax after we got a good rain, love it!

Yes. I used the rubber and tire cleaner on my Weather Tech liners. Don’t. It turned them white. Too strong of a product. 

It's new.  Not yet out, still in the testing phase, but I expect to see it soon.  I have Weather Tech liners in my rides and this is one product I'm excited about.
