  1. I would say it would be 100% beneficial (pet hair removal and really anything else that you guys do). The more videos that become available to members the better IMHO. .but only if you have the available time and its not costing you Too much $$. I don’t have half a clue on how to remove any dog hair..let alone that much. And thnx for the Porsche pic!
  2. Im still looking at the before pictures in disbelief.....
  3. Thats amazing turnover time!! Knowing how stubborn pet hair is I wouldnt have been surprised u said 3 days!! Just shows that proper tools and knowledge are key. I get a handful of dog hairs in my car and it takes me half hour to vacuum the trunk. Can I see more pics of that Panamera again?
  4. 16 man hours easy ?? The customer was probably close to being at a point where buying another car would have been Cheaper!
  5. Effing amazing! Sorry for the language. But great work. I wouldn’t have thought that turnaround was even possible. About how long did that take? On a side note..how the heck could somebody drive that car!!!! The before pics made me sick. I could only imagine that odor emitting from that interior before! Awesome work!
  6. Dont laugh..I definitely would have saved money at the start !!🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ All downhill from there...
  7. Just for reference i did NOT pay for “jump the line”. Thought hard about it!!
  8. Today is the quickest ive ever received my shipment notification.
  9. I the CEramic coating wax just the CPW re-named?? A few of the photos show cpw and others show ceramic coating wax. Just curious! I have a bunch of CPw left
  10. @vollychief message me if you have any future questions. I would also mention to him that if you get a sleeveless one, they are barely noticeable underneath a jersey... and the funny thing is I’d say more than half the kids On my son’s team wear them anyway..
  11. @vollychief my son was diagnosed with an ASD (small hole) in his heart a few years ago. Thankfully there was a fix and after Successful open heart surgery (shout out to the great Dr at NY Presbyterian!!) repaired the hole. After a few months he was cleared to play ANY sport. For the past few years he has worn a chest guard for baseball and basketball. Below are the two options. He usually wears the Evoshield for baseball and opts for the softer type one for basketball. The Evoshield is harder and gets custom fit to the chest. Id opt for that, bc if u take and elbow to the chest it would def disperse the pressure.
  12. I just received my vacuum as a “gift”. I see a few people said it doesn’t have much suction. I was using one that plugged into the cigarette lighter...i know that type of vacuum is definitely crap..... But this barrel vacuum has pretty darn good suction. I think it is a good value. The hose is much more heavy duty than I expected as well. Nice product to add to my collection. Wheels would have been a good idea..but shouldn’t stop you from purchasing it.
  13. @RayS preference is prob the best CPW. It def just as easy to apply as Americana, and it lasts the longest (other than the Ceramic coating/Spray coatings).
  14. You are going to want to finish your hard work with a wax/sealant or coating. That top coat “seals” In all your hard work you put in correcting the paint. I haven’t used the BW, but I believe its in the lower end in the longevity line of the wax products. IMHO id go with the ceramic spray coating, but if you prefer wax, go with Americana or patriot then top it off with BW. I do believe 4 yrs is beyond the expected lifespan of the BW too.
  15. @shane@detailedreflections i thought we lost you! Great pics and fantastic work. As i scrolled down i kept changing my favorite Pic! GTR was my early favorite, changed over to the Aston, before ending with my winner.... the Porsche!! PS ..no reason for the GTR to have 1200 hp!!!! That’s insane. Would have loved to park it for u!! I wonder what is 0 to 60 time is?🤔
  16. @RayS they actually have several standard colors in stock. They will also custom match any paint code but it’s twice the price. If I recall correctly, there were “mustang” kits too.
  17. I agree with @falcaineer and @Yo-Yo Ma's Cousin...im just avoiding products that Adams suggests not using with Ceramic products (such as original HGG or Americana/buttery wax). Im using my W&W as fast as possible, just phasing out the non-ceramic line.
  18. While detailing my car, I have always been bothered by slight rusting on my brake calipers. Its not much but enough to bother me. I would scrub it with APC and a brush and it would come off... but just as quickly reappear I spoke to my brother who recommended G2 brake paint kit (brushed on). I want to keep my car as OEM as possible (except for the shine!) so I ordered silver (as much as i love red /yellow brake calipers I personally think it wouldnt look good on My oem brakes). I watched a few videos and gave it a shot. I dont ever try at home auto repairs fyi...I borrowed the jack and jack stands and went to work. Turns out getting the car onto 4 jack stands is harder than I thought. I was working in my garage (heated!) so room was limited. Long story short, 45 mins later it was off ground. Just like ceramic coating a car, painting the calipers is all in prep work. The kit included a can of brake cleaner. Basically I taped off the rubber parts, and scrubbed the calipers with wire brush a few times. I removed the pads instead of taping them up (decided to replace them later with Powerstop pads). My car has 30k miles, pads were still good but figured i was in there I may as well. (I did that for first time too😬) The paint kit contains an 1/2 oz of a reactor that once mixed with paint, gives you 4 hours of time to work before it hardens. The paint was easy to apply and self leveling. I applied 3 coats and had a decent amount left over. I let the car sit in the heated garage overnight and began the brake pad replacement this AM. Total paint time including prep was about 1.5 hrs. First pic below is after 2nd coat. 3 coats: The kit was $54 on AmAzon. For us people that are OCD about our cars I thought this was a quick And easy fix!! I would highly recommend it. Im curious as to the longevity of this product and will post any changes. And yes...i cleaned the crap out of the wheels once they were off!! Im sort of wishing I had red calipers now....the wife’s car could be next!!🤔
  19. How much did u shake it? I have had similar residue on the.bottom of my DS as well..a good shaking usually dissolved it. Id say your fine.
  20. It was meant for @Chris@Adams! But if you willing to drop a few hints @falcaineer my ears are open!
  21. How about that soon to be released Ceramic coating? I wish i knew more about it Chris..🧐
  22. I agree with Juan..after strip and clay...at least a quick Revive hand polish if you cant get You hands on a SK.
  23. Pretty sure 485 is plenty!! I would need new tires monthly if that was my car!
  24. Depending on the condition of the paint and your personal preference, you may need more then the FP, you may need to use the correcting polish and/or Heavy correcting polish with color coordinated pads. All just as easy to use and not screw up. I have a black car as well. Results were to my liking. You would then want to lock in the shine with some sort of sealant/wax. I prefer Ceramic paint coating....may switch over to the Ceramic spray coating next year....but Id recommended the Ceramic Paste Wax. Very easy to use and long lasting. There are many other was options that Adams offers but those are the ones I’ve used. Good luck!
