  1. I think your on track with the products your looking to order. As far as polishing goes I had zero experience with Adams SK.,.but a few yrs back i gave it a shot...with zero minutes on a polisher I achieved pretty neat results. I have never done a whole car using Revive Hand Polish but i believe a few members on here have. Both my cars were in decent shape, but i still had to use the Cp first then finish with the white FP. Zero swirls/halos!! I do hear the new one step pad and polish is pretty good stuff too, just never used it. As far as towels are concerned, you can never have too many. I’d say 2-4 single softs for polish removal. Then maybe 4 borderless grays too, which u can use one for the removal of your Ceramic coating/spray. I do have a few double softs and of course they are softer than the single. I received those in MB. I use that to remove ceramic paste wax twice a yr.
  2. Im in agreement with @Rich ...i do use the DS slightly differently when drying...i quickly dry my car using a blower then take a dry MF, using a few sprays per panel dry the car completely. I fold the towel in way to have 8 dry sides and usually dry the car streak free with one MF. (Either gray borderless or single soft)
  3. Welcome! Another East coast member!! We need to up our membership so they can open an Adams HQ East!🤞🏼(I do appreciate the midnight EST release the other nite 😜, 2 am est would have killed me!)
  4. I didn’t think about the door jams! Def time consuming and an added cost. I am all for wraps....I do like the matte finishes as well. Wrapping it is best option for changing the feel for your ride with permanent ramifications. I know they aren’t cheap when done correctly with the proper products...ive considering doing an “ice” wrap (transparent wrap that gives it a matte look to existing color) on my car. I have a relative that installs wraps and his cost for product alone was in the 4 figures.
  5. Its beautiful as it is!! But if we are going with a change...since its already orange..cross the “matte orange” off the list! I do like the orange (either matte or as is) but if you are going to put in the time and expense,....GO different!!! Cant wait to see your work!
  6. No such thing as over purchasing here on this forum..its always necessary!! All joking aside, you will use the 16oz bottle in a few washes. The gallon purchase really lowers the cost as compared to 16oz bottles.
  7. I dont remember exactly..and i cant find it in my order history. But The individual bottles were about the same price as current DS and ID....but i believe the set was around $50. Those sold out quick.

    Smaht Pahk...

i did see a guy use that feature on his tesla ..def odd watching the guy waiting for his driverless Tesla to pull up. It was creeping along...

    Smaht Pahk...

Agreed!!! . Only reason i would see a need for that is trailering cars (pretty sure not many people tow hyundai’s) ...or squeezing 3 cars into a 2 car garage!

    Smaht Pahk...

Anybody else cringe watching the Hyundai smaht pahk commercial last night??? I couldnt be the only Adams member.!!!! I was thinking... Great invention....but how the heck do the other drivers get back into their cars with smashing the crap out of your door???? For those who didnt catch it...Hyundai has something called smart park (they did it with a Boston accent) ..if you find a parking spot at the mall which would be too tight to pull into and actually open up u car doors to exit....u exit ur car before parking...then hit some button and the car pulls into the space..door handle to door handle. Except the parking spot is sooo tight that either car next to u can open their doors. Nice looking car I might add. I actually went online to see if it was a joke. Nope its real folks! please tell me im not the only one!!
  11. You are probably better off using a ceramic waterless wash several times a week. that product will not build up. it is also recommended to use the ceramic boost once Every few washes, Definitely not 2 to 3 times a week. The same with the ceramic spray coating, Three times a year it would probably be plenty. Although the new product Adams just released the CS3 may fit into your regiment. I just don’t have any experience with it yet since it was just released yesterday.
  12. Im in. I would say the ceramic coating alone would knock a few hundreds of a second off his lap time!! A little CS3 during a tire change!!
  13. @Yo-Yo Ma's Cousin terrific write-up. Its awesome to see the time our members put in to this forum to help out other members!👍🏻👍🏻
  14. Although i just CC both my cars this summer/fall, i did purchase the large bottle of CSC during the black friday sale! Ill prob use it this summer even though the CC should last well over one year. Why not!!🤷🏼‍♂️
  15. I agree with Chris on the ceramic paint coating. I had zero experience with coatings until last year. I have now applied it on 4 cars and it works wonders..looks great too! Im actually going to try this spray coating in the spring on another car. I just don’t have the time to keep a car out of service for 24 hours as it’s recommended by the instructions I top my vehicles off with the ceramic paste wax twice a year. And use the ceramic boost about once a month. The brilliant glaze I received an a mystery box and I use that for my interior windows.
  16. Wow. Great work. Paint looks dripping wet! I must say the front license plate looks great.👍🏻
  17. 2 towels is fine. Fold it into quarters...that gives u 8 clean sides per towel..for a total of 16.
  18. I wouldn’t toss them.just dont use them for any exterior jobs...i moved mine over to interior jobs or door jamb chores drawer!
  19. I too love the CpW...bad part is I have nearly a full container left and would love to try the new CCW!!
  20. @falcaineer is on point as usual! I Have only used the correcting and finishing polish, but i hear the one step is great. The Ceramic Paste Wax (cpw) was revamped and renamed to Ceramic Coating Wax last month or so. I assume its very similar and just an improved version of the cpw. I have topped off my ceramic coated cars with the cpw and are very happy with the results! Looking forward to the pics too! And if you have never used a polisher before there is plenty of info on this forum in order to do it properly.
  21. @Brewder welcome! I too made the switch from Zaino a few years back. I used APC and CS mixed into 5 gallon bucket. It removed the Z5 easily. I did use the Iron Remover after the stripping then moved onto claying. I then did a full correction and sealed it with the ceramic paint coating topped off with CpW.
  22. Only area i use the BG is on the interior of the windshield. Works great. If its filthy i would give it a quick wipedown (i dont let my personal car get that dirty!!😜). All I do is apply a generous amount to a Mf applicator and evenly apply to the inside of the windshield. I let it dry for about 5 minutes then wipe off with any clean MF towel. Comes out streak free.
