Customer Service Unresponsive
Editguy replied to Editguy's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Yes I'm serious. I call during the day, mainly on my lunch hour. I've had a person answer the phone exactly once, every other time it goes to voicemail. I select option #2 for questions about orders. The only response I get lately is waiting for the Live Chat they have on their website to go online where Tyler or Colton have been very helpful. All other options are extremely hit or miss. -
My experiences with contacting customer service the past few weeks have been miserable. I'm constantly getting put through to voice mails with no return calls and my emails go unanswered. The only luck I've had in reaching anyone has been through the Live Chat link on the web site. Ultimately customer service does the right thing but wow is it tough reaching you guys when something goes wrong.

Adam's Rubber Mat & Liner Cleaner
Editguy replied to Editguy's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Every time I have purchased through DetailGiant he has always met or exceeded Adam's 15% discount. I plan on giving him all of my business here on out. The fact that I'm local to him is a bonus but even if I weren't and lived on the east coast I would still buy all my Adam's products from him. I understand he doesn't have a web site to purchase through which is inconvenient for some, but Lukas is very responsive to direct messages and I enjoy the personalized service he offers. -

Would this be the ideal product to clean Weathertech floor liners? -
Help Us Help You
Editguy replied to Team Adam's's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Amazon Prime also carries much of the main product line and one-off items can be delivered in 1-2 days. Also don't underestimate the power of your local Adam's dealers. Even if you don't live close to a local dealer they can ship to you much quicker and often even cheaper than directly from Adam's.- 62 replies

As much as I would love to see one, good apps aren't cheap to develop and they need to be maintained and updated. But the potential if properly developed could be awesome.

I have a new premium foam gun to offer for that new Patriot if you are at all interested, sorry it's not the snub nose but I figured I would offer anyway.

Wow I can't believe how well RW worked as a presoak at 6:1. It goes on thick enough at this dilution to soak in and and get to work on the bugs and tar and loosens the stain up really well. And at 16:1 it possibly outperforms Waterless Wash and does a fantastic job on cleaning a slightly dusty car. Still have not tried it for it's intended purpose, I'm reserving that for winter washes. Good job Adam's on a great product!

Can Buttery Wax be applied with a polisher?
Editguy replied to Editguy's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
Thank you all for your input. I'm pretty much still a noob at detailing and I'm kind of thinking out loud exploring my options. -
Can Buttery Wax be applied with a polisher?

If so, which color pad would you use? Red? -
Headlight Restoration Kit completeness...
Editguy replied to Eric91Z's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
Every time I try to call I just get put through to a voicemail. Customer service seems overwhelmed. I was actually going to make a post about this, they are pushing so much product out the door shipping department is making tons of mistakes and customer service is scrambling. I'm a new customer, I placed my first order at the end of June and it arrived with missing items. I have placed five more orders since then and three of those five orders had various problems all related to packing/shipping damaged, missing or wrong items. So out of six orders, four of them had issues. Customer service has made it right each time but I wind up waiting 2-3 weeks from placing my order until I have everything. I still not have heard back from the email I sent this morning so now my problem wont be dealt with until next week and maybe next weekend I can do the restoration I had planned on doing today. I love this companies products I'm just getting a little frustrated having to keep track of all the mistakes. They really need to tune up the shipping department or hire more folks there and stop making so many mistakes. I am most likely going to reach out to a local dealer and start avoiding the shop in Colorado. -
Clay lube ... so many options
Editguy replied to MikeSoFlo's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
For those using RW for lube what ratio are you diluting it to? 16:1 or 32:1? -

Just opened my Kit this morning and it was missing one of the MF cutting pads. Send them an email still waiting to hear back. -
How to become a distributor
Editguy replied to Joe_Joe's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
There is some information about the requirements to become a dealer if you scroll down on this web page. I have no idea if the information is current https://myadams.com/password -
It's a fun addiction to have! Welcome!

...it was just what the doctor ordered, lazing around detailing my car. Cleaned the engine bay, tires, foamed the car with my new working foam sprayer, dried with H2O G&G and finished off with a little Buttery Wax and Detail Spray. Glorious day indeed. Dang that Buttery Wax smells good now I want a banana split! Hope you all have a great weekend!

ADAM'S AMERICANA SHINE KIT
Editguy replied to Editguy's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I didn't mean for the wax, I meant swap out the red hex instead of the microfiber pads to more efficiently apply the brilliant glaze like Adam talks about in this video. -
Wouldn't it make more sense for the Americana Shine kit to come with the red hex grip applicator for the BG instead of those microfiber pads (which are awesome for applying BG to the inside of windows)? https://adamspolishes.com/shop/kits/waxing-glazing-kits/adam-s-premium-shine-kit.html

Spray top tubes too long
Editguy replied to Editguy's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
These are noticeably longer compared to the dozen or so I have from previous orders. I can't get the cap to screw down without trimming them. -
I noticed in my recent order that the tubes attached to the spray tops are a few inches too long to fit in the bottle. It's obviously easy to remedy with a pair of scissors, just making you aware of the issue.

When diluting products....
Editguy replied to Editguy's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Thanks Chris, Yes I have that page bookmarked for handy reference, good stuff in there! -
...do you add the product to the bottle first or the water? Specifically RW, APC and VRT. Thanks!

I really miss the mints when they don't come in my box. I was actually thinking of buying a box of these. Anyone else look forward to their mints? https://www.amazon.com/USA-Flag-Buttermints-108-Pcs/dp/B00A263180/ref=sr_1_20_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1532800852&sr=1-20&keywords=buttermint
