Exactly this. We actually offer a 10H coating, but I never use it as a sales pitch for it. I use the longer durability, deeper gloss and more layers as the pitch. 
 
Hardness is just a number people can cling to it seems. 

A little leather cleaner and a boats hair brush should get you where you want to be. Be gentle. And no stiff bristles. 

A tooth brush might be good. I use that to clean the stitching on my steering wheel, strong enough to get gunk out and soft enough not to rip out the stitching. It also is small enough that you can focus on a small area

Tooth brush for sure.  Whatever you use to clean it, be sure to follow up with leather conditioner around it. 

Hey guys, new to the forums. Really started to look into detailing my own cars after having dismal experiences at drive through car washes. If I had known how much damage it was doing to my old black car I would have never went, you should have seen the amount of swirls my car had after 3 years of drive through car washes. 
No more. New car new rules. Started doing my own research in to the best chemicals, microfibers, and procedures to properly detail my car and even though I live in an apartment, I bought a 150' hose and got to work. 
and that's how I pretty much ended up here. Between the great products, great reputation, great customer service and the scents, god damn, how do you guys do it? I almost licked my tire shine (not really but it smells really good). 
Great stuff all around hoping I don't go bankrupt by the time the next holiday limited edition scent comes out lol.

So it looks like I'll be trying out the pumpkin spice products this weekend. It's mostly for the wife, make her feel better about how much I'm spending :P. 

 

Welcome to the forum Jayson!  The struggle is real man, I recently came down with the Adam’s Addiction myself, haha!  After giving up on the over the counter products at the local auto parts stores.  No offense to the employees but they are not professionals when it comes to auto detailing.  So I decided to make the switch a few months ago too.  I’ve not been disappointed and I don’t think you will be either!
 
150’ hose, now that’s commitment!  The products are premium, the smells are crazy good and the customer service is the best!

usually 20% for black friday. they've never gone higher then that for any sale

I’ve used the PS detail spray and interior detailer so far and I think they smell like a sweet creamy pumpkin spice pudding, which for me is great.  Also the PS air freshener smells the same.  
 
I’m sure the Black Friday sale will
be more focused on new/limited products, with the added 15% off.  I could be mistaken though.  

Welcome to forums!  I haven't received my order yet for the PS deodorizer.  But, I do like the Interior PS, the smell is lightly scented compared to the PS detail spray. So it not overpowering and I have the air freshener in the car.  I do not smell butter popcorn in any of the products I have.
