Use Surface Prep to clean the glass, then apply Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating (Advanced) to your glass. You could also use Glass Sealant, Glass Boost or the new Anti-Fog, but those are more temporary solutions. Let us know what you decide!

LOL - couldn't wait to get out.  Tennessee is a great place to live!

I was hoping that some of the previous responders to this thread would chime in, but I'm guessing that a lot of them no longer use this forum.

Dan - Thank you!  That is very helpful.

I met you a couple of years ago at the Adams tent while at the NCM BASH.  You were helpful then and you’re helpful again.  Hope to see you guys there next year.  Tell Adam to make it!  😄

Brewder - I was a long time user of Zaino as well.  I find  Adams products to be as good, if not better than Zaino.  Check out the YouTube videos that Adams have for some great advice.  Welcome to the world of ceramics, too!

TOBASCO got a reaction from falcaineer in We need a "General Guide" to help us sort out all the new products - What, When, Why, how, etc.
I've been an avid Adams user for years now and I thought there used to be a lot of products to understand.  It's one thing to understand what a product is good for, but another thing to find out what products are compatible with others, and are best when used together, etc.

Now with all the new ceramic options, it's getting even more complicated.  I think there are a lot of Adams customers that would love a guide on what products are best for various situations and what can or should be used with others.

For example, I bought the Adams Ceramic UV coating kit (right before you came out with the Graphene kit  ).  So one option is to maintain the coating with Ceramic Boost.  But now there is a Graphene Spray and Graphene Detail Spray.  Can I use these with the "old" ceramic coating or not.  With all the various options with all the products, I think we could benefit from a general guide that helps us with all the expert suggestions, tips, etc.

    Thanks for the consideration!

TOBASCO got a reaction from kaj41354 in Let's talk GLASS ....
I know there are a number of detailing experts on this forum so I thought I'd ask these questions to get your best recommendations on glass!  Given all the available products to do different things for glass cleaning and protection, I'm sure many of you have tried various plans of attack and have found your "go-to" method.  I realize that glass cleaner and claying no doubt will be the foundation for most things, but then what?  Rain-X (ha)?  Ceramic coating?  What type?  Maintenance?

Q #1 - What is your recommendation for the best way to keep glass (mainly windshield) clean and protected, as well as maintenance suggestions?

Q #2 -  Assuming ceramic coating may be the new popular suggestion, what about maintenance?  Would you clean the glass with "regular" glass cleaner?  Would that have any affect on ceramic coating performance?  Could you clean with glass cleaner and then use something like Ceramic Boost?  I know that Brilliant Glaze used to be the recommended product, but what's everyone's opinion today?

Thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions!

falcaineer -  car looks fantastic - nice job.

My question with the paste wax is should it be applied similar to liquid coatings where you apply a section in one direction and then go over the same section in the opposite direction.  It really didn't say one way or another in their instructions.  Thanks!

I did actually wash and dry the car after the clay bar, just because of all the residue remaining, but realize now that the finishing polish probably would have taken that off - but I know it's clean!  LOL

I finished the process through the finishing polish yesterday.  I did notice that there were some water spots on the trunk area when I started the polish step, and afterward they were entirely removed by the finishing process.  Car looks great right now, and I'll be putting a coat of Adams Ceramic paste on this afternoon.  It's in the 50's today - is there any issue with applying the ceramic paste at temps in the 50's? (indoor garage).

Falcaineer - I'm going to be doing this on a month old car.  Would you still recommend the iron remover?  {Edit] - never mind.... just watched the video!

Appreciate it, Brandon!  Just so I'm on the same page (newbie here), I want to make sure I'm on the same page with you.  I'm assuming means APC is the Adams All Purpose Cleaner?  And is there a specific product for the surface prep?  Not sure if I have an Adams product for that.  And if I use the 50% Iso Alc, Do I dilute it to 50%?  Or if I find one that's already 50%, do I just put in on a rag and wipe the surface down?  Never heard of this step.

    Thanks, bud!
