  1. Nice job on the vette Steve. I love the lights. They look great!
  2. GREAT job AJ. The question is where have I been? Never heard of pooling. And I haven't used the leaf blower. I will crank up the blower next time and try the pooling method. To bad my car isn't dirty. I'd run out tomorrow and wash it.
  3. Yep. I knew you'd like this one. Nothing like a healthy american woman.
  4. Wow. I've been gone too long. Great pics everyone. I owe Teresa some pics. Since she did go first (Nice pic of you working on a car! I'm in love... Just don't tell my wife!!! ) And Chris you do dress up very nicely! AJ I love that do. Now my pics: My wife and I at the "Top of the rock" in NY. Attending my 25th anniversary dinner with WSJ/Barron's. Me at my office. This was in the paper. Don't I look professional! Should see me when I'm detailing. Look nothing like this. And my favorite picture of Tim Tebow's girlfriend. Just thought I throw it in to spice things up!
  5. Hoping those are your wife's pretty pink slippers....
  6. One thing I noticed in the video was that he applied his wax by hand! Seemed to make sense with the warmth of the skin applying the wax. So...... I broke out my APW and applied a coat by hand. I don't know if it looks any better, but I could feel EVERYTHING on the car. And it was an absolutely great experience Rubbing your car down by hand! Give it a try!
  7. Please... This automobile is a ferrari killer! Awesome pic with the horses.
  8. +1 In & Out was one of the first products I wanted to buy. Unfortunately I was a day late and a dollar short. Here's hoping it comes back soon.
  9. Got my VRT! And mixed it 50/50 with water in a 4oz spray bottle. Sprayed it on the grille of my Shelby. The brush was cumbersome in the honeycombs that had backing. I couldn't get into all the cracks very easily and there was left over VRT in them that was difficult to wipe out. So... I used compressed air to blow out the honeycombs w/ backing. What a GREAT job it did. It moved the VRT into all corners and cracks of the honeycomb and blew out the excess. One word of caution. Wear goggles! VRT burns a little when it gets in your eyes. Another great product from ADAMS!
  10. Wanted to add these 2 pics to the thread. 2 coats of MSW and 1 APW. Got a little snow on it the other day during a photo shoot! Nothing a little DS wont take care of!
  11. It was worth the bump. Especially getting to see those slippers! Nice write up.
  12. Bump! Nooner thanks for asking the questions! I was curious too. Took a while to find so it's moving on up.
  13. If that doesn't keep you away from the car washes, I don't know what will.
  14. I do not green eggs and ham! Honestly, I don't watch either. Family does though...
  15. Exactly what I'm looking for. I hate doing the honeycomb grill. Guess I've got to order VRT.
  16. Maybe I missed it in this thread, but I didn't see mention of using the MF towel with the :pc:to buff off up to 80% of the FMP and the MSW. The shine is much better then when I do it by hand. And it's faster. Adam demonstrates how to do it in one of his videos. Love the towels!
  17. Well this is a pic of me with my new racing gloves at Pocono. Did the Nascar Experience. 48 miles of absolute excitement! Taking off... Going fast!! 170 mph!!! I'm in the second car in the second group of cars.
  18. When do you plan to replace the In & Out spray with a new product. I loved the way it worked. I see in this thread that VRT in a spray bottle cut 50/50 should do the same thing?
  19. +1 I bought Ice when I was on vacation to do a family members car. Worked horribly on the paint, but was FANTASTIC for all black surfaces (trims, tires, wheel wells, etc...) But even on the black it doesn't hold up long at all. Will use it till it's gone. Then will by VRT.
