Hi Adam: That is exactly what I do....Every few months I apply the Brillant Glaze over the Buttery wax. I just applied the Buttery wax over the total Vette and will apply brillant glaze in 3 weeks. The 2016 Vette has 2700 miles and the paint is in great shape. I bought it with 2000 miles. I just thought there might be a way to acheive more "pop". I am a hand polish guy. Have tried machine which caused concern. It is not for me. I am almost 80 years old. Just curious if there are some other product I should try. Presently I clay, then use revive polish ( called something else now ...the blue polish) then buttery wax, then brillant glaze. To refresh I use the buttery wax then glaze. Occassionally Adams detail spray although mostly use the detail spray when wash immediately before drying. I also tried graphene detail spray and was dissapointed with result on shark grey. My neighbor and I then tried it on blue and got great results. Also got posative results on silver Kia. Perhaps shark grey is more difficult? I've had green, white, black and DSOM Vettes that seem shineyier than this shade of grey. If anyone on the forum has good results handpolishing grey lets talk. Thank you

This happened Around 10 a m. Overspray from landscaping. Got on passenger side of hood and fender. I washed Vette around 2 and tried removing with Adams blue wax (use to be called Revive), then buttery, then glaze. Some etching has occurred. Then borrowed drill buffer from neighbor and a product he had. Made me nervous so quit. I am ordering the Adams water spot remover first thing in morning. Some water spotting with etching on Corvette hood vents. Vette is in garage with car cover. The water spot remover video looks good. Has anyone used this? Any words of wisdom? Think I will apply detail spray first then this. I do not have waterless wash ( except for some that is 10 plus years old). IS THERE A LOCAL STORE I CAN PICK THIS UP FROM? sounds like the sooner the better. I am in Oakland California and San Ramon Valley. Thank you

Same as title....How to be rid of water spots?

I did not care for the graphene detail spray on Vette. Results were nonstandard. On shark grey the area was not as crisp or bright as the normal Adams detail spray or the brilliant glaze. When looking at the area where sun was reflecting in the hood the graphene seemed blurry. With the other two products the sun reflection was crisp, well defined, very bright and round. .....On white car the Graphene was much better (3 separate areas the Graphene, adams spray and glaze were applied to all appearred to be the same). My neighbor borrowed the graphene and used on a dark blue car. Results were very good. Perhaps different colors acheive different results. I have not experienced any "spots"

I, too, only hand wax.. I have been on this forum for around 15 to 20 years, although the forum does not show this.. I first tried a PC2474 buffer. However, for me hand waxing seemed best. My formula is ........ .1.Wash with Adams car shampoo. Remove hose nozzle and sheet water off, then use the great white drying towel in straight lines 2. apply Revive Polish (cleans and shines). 3. Buttery Wax. 4. Brilliant Glaze I apply each in straight motions. First working left to right, then up and down, then left to right again. I usually cover Vette after doing Revive and wait a few days before apply the Buttery wax. I then cover again, wait a day and apply the Brillant Glaze. When I buff by hand I also rub in alternating straight lines. I never apply or buff in circles. Sometimes I will wash again before apply the final brilliant glaze. I apply the Brillant Glaze to the exterior of all glass and inside the tail pipes. I apply the Buttery Wax to the polished wheels (sometimes using the Brilliant Glaze). I get excellent results with the above. After this when wash Vette I lightly spray Adams Detail Spray on surfaces beforer using the Adams drying towel. Thank you

I need to let them do this without infringing. (hard for me to do). They power washed today and thought was clean. It is not...I put a little detail spray on trunk and yuk. I've also let them have polish etc , towels and old PC2474. I mentioned claying but immediately qualified this as being too difficult. A few questions......Is there a liquid clay substitute? My PC 2474 may not have the spindle. If not does anyone know where I can get one? In the meantime I need to sit back and enjoy the boys doing this. (it wont be easy for me to stay hands off.) But apparently that is what 80 year old grandpas should sometimes do. Thank you, Bill

What is shelf live of Brilliant Glaze and Buttery wax? Also which should be applied first? I've always applied the brilliant glaze over the wax, however, someone questioned this. When I am going on a Corvette run or show I use the glaze over the wax Instead of detail spray. I have mettallic shark grey paint. The brilliant glaze really makes it pop. . What is longevity of both on the car after applying? Thank you

Amazing ...I initially joined Adam's Forum around 15 to 20 years ago.(had different email address which is why membership doesn't reflect this). However, at that time persons were discussing the "lint" effect. The saga continues. P S..... I am still a happy user of Adams products

Its in the towels......You need Adam's Polish Microfiber Revitalizer. I assume they still have this or a similar product. It looks like lint but it is really microfiber fibers. Suggest before use microfiber (including drying towel) on body test by wiping on wet windhield. If you feel the towel or microfiber does not glide smoothly. stop and look closely you will see the fibers massing on the glass (this will also happen on body but is not as noticeable). Instantly stop and use another microfiber (put the contaminated towel in the to be washed pile). I was skeptical, however, the revitalizer truly works. My method to remove this from the glass is to wash the glass and wipe with the blue glass drying towel. (do not know if Adams still has these towels or not). These blue towels were for use on glass only (they are not microfiber). Another method is to use Brilliant Glaze. Let it haze then wipe......As O C D as I am I use to glaze the totar car when the fibers were present on the glass. That is why I learned to check for this prior to drying the total car. Follow the directions on the revitalizer container and you will be fine.

I believe Corvettes are prepainted off site before delivery of the exterior body parts to Bowling Green. The prepainted panels are then installed on the assembly line. Thus they may have been been painted well before. This is true for most cars. You may want to check with G M Go to Onstar or Chevrolet Owner web site. Enjoy our new ride !!
