  1. I guess I have been a little remiss in posting a picture. Here is a pic that has all three in it. Not a great closeup shot. Rich
  2. I am one of those guys that for some reason I just cannot keep the car windows from streaking. So, long ago my wife took that job away from me. If you think about it, ..not a bad thing! Well, then I noticed that my Adam's window cleaner was inside the house. I didn't say anything because I did not want to upset the apple cart with my car window detailer. But then she tried the carpet cleaner on a spot she had on her Cadillac SRX. I later found the carpet cleaner in the house too. We now order these products in the gallon jugs. Oh, that reminds me, I have to place another order. Rich
  3. from the other side of "the Alley"!
  4. Rich, I didn't write these I just re-posted it here. But, if I had, I would have included a couple of cousins names, - Vinnie and Vito! Rich
  5. I am glad you enjoyed it VG! I knew someone would be able to relate to this. Rich
  6. When I lived in Maryland I had a stall in row F at Corvettes Carlisle for about 15 years. I just sold miscellaneous used parts that I would pick up from time to time. It helped me defer the cost of the restoration on my '69. I gave it up after '03 event and liquidated the balance of my stuff on eBay. Now that I am in Florida, it is hard to justify the trip to just look around. Rich
  7. Maybe Adam only attracts Italian car fanatics! I too had grand parents that came here from Sicily, just outside of Palermo (I think). We did not have much when we were kids but food was never an issue. We did have pasta about three times a week, but on Sundays my mother would change it up a bit and we had LASAGNA! To this day I eat way too much pasta, but love it. My Mom was not allowed to teach us five kids to speak Italian. My Irish father was paranoid that every time Italian was being spoken they were talking about him. And he was probably right, rest his soul! So, the only Italian that me or any of my siblings know is just what we picked up being around it. Well, I just had this sent to me from one of my Italian relatives and thought some of you might be able to relate to these. 42 Things In The Life Of An Italian Child 01. You have at least one relative who wore a black dress every day for an entire year after a funeral. 02. You spent your entire childhood thinking what you ate for lunch was pronounced 'sangwich.' 03. Your family dog understood Italian. 04. Every Sunday afternoon of your childhood was spent visiting your grandparents and extended family. 05. You've experienced the phenomena of 150 people fitting into 50 square feet of yard during a family cookout 06. You were surprised to discover the FDA recommends you eat three meals a day, not seven. 07. You thought killing the pig each year and having salami, capacollo, pancetta and prosciutto hanging out to dry from your shed ceiling was absolutely normal. 08. You ate pasta for dinner at least three times a week, and every Sunday, and laughed at the commercial for Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti day. 09. You grew up thinking no fruit or vegetable had a fixed price and that the price of everything was negotiable through haggling. 10. You were as tall as your grandmother by the age of seven. 11. You thought everyone's last name ended in a vowel. 12. You thought nylons were supposed to be worn rolled to the ankles. 13. Your mom's main hobby was cleaning. 14. You were surprised to find out that wine was actually sold in stores. 15. You thought that everyone made their own tomato sauce. 16. You never ate meat on Christmas Eve or any Friday for that matter. 17. You ate your salad after the main course. 18. You thought Catholic was the only religion in the world. 19. You were beaten at least once with a wooden spoon or broom. 20. You thought every meal had to be eaten with a hunk of bread in your hand 21. You can understand Italian but you can't speak it. 22. You have at least one relative who came over on a famous boat. 23. All of your uncles fought in a World War. 24. You have at least six male relatives named Tony, Frank, Joe or Louie. 25. You have relatives who aren't really your relatives. 26. You have relatives you don't speak to. 27. You drank wine before you were a teenager. 28. You relate on some level, admit it, to the Godfather and the Sopranos. Forrgetttabbboutit! Badda bing! 29. You grew up in a house with a yard that didn't have one patch of dirt that didn't have a flower or a vegetable growing out of it. 30. Your grandparent's furniture was as comfortable as sitting on plastic. Wait!!!! You were sitting on plastic. 31. You thought that talking loud was normal. 32. You thought sugared almonds and the Tarantella were common at all weddings. 33. You thought everyone got pinched on the cheeks and money stuffed in their pockets by their relatives. 34. Your mother is overly protective of the males in the family no matter what their age. 35. There was a crucifix in every room of the house. 36. Wakes would be held in someone's living room. 37. You couldn't date a boy without getting approval from your father. (Oh, and he had to be Italian) 38. You called pasta 'macaroni'. 39. You dreaded taking out your lunch at school 40. Going out for a cup of coffee usually meant going out for a cup of coffee over Zia's house. 41 Every condition, ailment, misfortune, memory loss and accident was attributed to the fact that you didn't eat something. 42 Those of you who get this . . . YOU KNOW who to pass it on to! CIAO! Rich
  8. My old house in Maryland was heated with oil fired hot water heat. I just ran another zone of that boiler to the garage. The hot water fed a square radiator that looked like a typical box fan (approximately 26" x 26"). It was hung from the ceiling in one corner and was thermostatically controlled. When heat was needed hot water flowed from the boiler in the house out to the garage and through the radiator and the fan behind it blew warm air diagonally across the three garage bays. It worked great. But now that I am in Florida, heating the garage is not an issue. I cool the garage with a stand alone 2 ton air conditioner and run it only when it is hot and I am going to be working in the garage for longer than 10 minutes. Rich
  9. Damn! I knew that but had a senior moment. Anyway, you don't see too many White FRCs around anywhere. Pretty car! Rich
  10. The '69 has the original motor and externally it is stock. The '01 has just a little under hood bling and the '04 Z06 Commemorative Edition is bone stock.
  11. A couple of years ago I had a friend that recommended that I talk to Adam about some detailing issues that I had with my Corvettes. He gave me Adam's number and I called and left a message. I initially did not get a call back from Adam, but to be honest I just assumed he was very busy. A few weeks later, I did get a call from Adam and he was very apologetic, which was not necessary, about missing my message. At that time I lived in Maryland and Adam happened to be in Carlisle. He asked where I lived and was I going to be home. Adam was making a trip down to Maryland for a dinner meeting and made a side trip to my house. He showed me a few tricks with some of his products and we had a great BS session in my garage. When Adam left he gave me a few of his products to try. The fact that he took out time from his busy day and made a special trip to my home was as impressive to me as his products. Since that day my supply of Zaino has not been touched. Service-Quality-Service-Quality It's just amazing other companies don't get it! Thanks Adam Rich
  12. Hey jawja guy! First, let me say that is a beautiful Speedway White FRC! If you go back a couple pages in this thread I posted a pic of my garage with the UCoat It floor. I have used my floor jack and jack stands on numerous occasions without any issues. I even put a few drops of brake fluid in a corner to test it out and the floor held up fine. In my post I also had a link to the UCoat it website. They have a number that you can call to talk to a technician about your floor. I would call them under the pretense that you are thinking about putting down the UCoat it and ask them what they think your problem may have been. That might help you decide what direction to go in the future. Good luck! Rich
