  1. My portfolio is down around 25%, but if it does not turn around in the next couple of years I guess the wife will have to get a job. Poor girl. Rich
  2. I spent 35 years in the contracting business with a major Federal Contractor. But now, my job is to try to hit that damn little white ball where I want it to go. Rich
  3. Here ya go Jason! 1969 Corvette Riverside Gold Convertible, 427/390 RPO L36 2001 Corvette Navy Blue Metallic Convertible 2004 Corvette Z06 Commemorative Edition #1995 of 2025
  4. I retired last year and moved from Maryland to Florida into a new home. I decided to epoxy my garage floor before I had a chance to drop fluids on the raw concrete. I used a product called U Coat It. I had seen this stuff at Carlisle for a number of years and was pretty impressed with it. It is not cheap, but, if applied correctly it is great stuff. Here are a couple pictures I took right after having my Corvettes shipped to Florida and before I had a chance to finish my garage. I can drop brake fluid on this stuff and it does not do a thing to it. Being in Florida, you will get hot tire marks on the floor, but they just wipe up with a wet rag. I keep some scrap carpet pieces under the tires to keep me from having to wipe the floor up very often. I am also including the U Coat It website, which is pretty good. You will have to clean your floor to get up the grease and oils because I don't think that anyone makes a product that will just go down over top of oil and not eventually lift. I did find that the service reps at U Coat It are really easy to deal with and they can tell you what you have to do to prep your floor. http://ucoatit.com/pgs/main.htm Good luck with your decision. 5. Welcome TR! Glad to see another member from the Corvette Florida forum. Rich
  6. Glad to be here Adam! Not going to make the Turkey Run but I need to figure how to put that in my schedule sometime in the future. I hear it's a great show. Rich
  7. I use a PC for polishing and waxing. I only apply by hand if I am doing a spot for a specific reason. I am still mixing Scratch & Swirl with Revive Polish, and also use Buttery Wax with the Gen 1 pads. I still have a few Gen 1 pads that I have not opened and inventory of Revive and Buttery, so it might be a little while before I change over to Gen 2 and the machine products. Rich
  8. After reading through this thread it is obvious to me that different vehicle owners have different application needs. The big truck guys have such large inner fender wells that are very accessible and you could stand back a few feet and spray the wheel wells with a larger sprayer. But, I just don't see that happening very well with a Corvette, especially if it has been lowered. I think I would offer an empty larger spray bottle that could be filled with a number of different products. The customers that have the need will buy it, the ones that don't won't. Since I own Corvettes, I like the current 16 oz size. I buy most of my stuff by the gallon and refill the 16 oz bottles. If I am going to do more than one Vette in the same day, which does not happen very often, I make sure I have two 16 oz bottles filled with DS before I get started. If I get low, I just grab the second bottle. Rich
  9. I had a friend from the Florida Corvette Forum recommend that I contact Adam about some detail questions that I had. Adam happened to be in Carlisle at the time and made arrangements to come to my home when I still lived in Maryland, and we talked Corvettes and detailing in my garage. Before Adam left, he gave me a few products to try. Besides being hooked on his products ever since, I am still amazed that he took some time out of his busy schedule to come to my home. Just a great guy with a great line of detail products. Rich
  10. Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Rich
  11. Obviously I am a newbie to the forum but not to Adam's products. I met Adam a few years ago when I still lived in Maryland. He quickly converted me from brand X to his product line and I have not regretted it. In fact my biggest problem is keeping my wife away from my Adam's cabinet in my garage. She now uses the Adam's Window Cleaner and the Carpet Cleaner in the house. So, we now buy these items in the larger bottles. Well, glad to be here! Rich
