  1. Thank god she's okay... Vehicles can be replaced, loved ones can't.
  2. Pretty darn happy with my Toro recycler. I can bag or mulch with the flip of a lever and it has a turn key starter, love that. I've never had to pull start it.
  3. Dude! That thing looks FANTASTIC! PB was my first color choice for my ST, but once I saw the Red I was sold. Great work man!!!
  4. I used straight turtle wax rubbing compound years and years ago (over 10).. its basically like wet sanding. it will scratch the living crap out of the clear coat below it, and you'll have to polish it back to a shine, but it worked. I wouldn't recommend this method now 10 years later. I would use the drill and some 4" pads to save time.. I want to say the old method took me 4 hours just to remove the stripes then another 3 to do a 3 stage polish to remove all the damage I did with the rubbing compound.
  5. I love this stuff! Worth every penny!
  6. 300hp in that little thing has got to be a LOT of fun!
  7. LOL.. hey at the end of the day its made to be used. And honestly this Patriot goes a really long way. My Patriot barely looks like its even been touched.
  8. So a friend of mine and his wife purchased new 2013 Ford Fusion, I asked him if he wanted to bring over for some new car prep. We started this morning at about 8am its was a great day for detailing, nice and over cast. I snapped some before shots before we began working: I got started with some APC and a the new Tire brush to clean up the tires: I then moved onto the wheels with Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner and Adam's Wheel Woolies: I then cleaned the wheels with Adam's Boars Hair Brush: And then rinsed the wheels: Then I rinsed the car and prepared for a full two bucket wash: Zero water beading present: On to a full foam foam treatment with Adam's Car Shampoo: After a full two bucket wash, it was time to rinse it off: On to the clay bar treatment: After another quick rinse, we brought the car in the garage for a air dry treatment via the MetroBlaster SideKick: After we got it all dry, a prototype Interior Spray was used on the interior: I opened up the engine bay for a quick wipe down and dress up: 50/50 After a helping of Super VRT: Aaaaand the finished product: Back to the paint we went, since the car had no visible scratches or swirls and it primarily lives outside, I layed down some Adam's Quick Sealant: Adam's Quick Sealant was also applied to the wheels: After the sealant was applied, I decided the pearls in this while would greatly benefit from a helping of Brilliant Glaze: Super Secret Juice applied to the tires: I polished up the 1.6L Turbo's exhaust tip with Adam's Metal Polish #1: Something was still missing with the paint, I wanted to see more depth and pearl, enter: Yup, I treated the car to a full wax treatment with Adam's Patriot! Geez I'm really going bald badly... Under the light: Since the sun was finally out, it was time to get this thing out in the sun for some beauty shots! And my favorite shot of the day, showcasing this Platinum White's pearl.. Really Ford has a beautiful daily driver here.. This car is as nice to drive as it looks. The leather interior is top notch, and this car turns heads like you would not believe... Fun detailing day! Hope you enjoyed... I know I did:
  9. I dont know now.. with shine like this I may have to just use all my PPW before going back to APW.
  10. I plan on using my PPW primarily as a spring/summer wax, and I'll use APW for the rest of the year.
  11. Yea, a mini review... A show and shine... Amazing... I love this stuff... Whaaaaat? No sun shots? Nope, not today... I finally got to use this stuff after having it for 5 days. Unfortunately it was at 9:00pm! Here's my opinion of this stuff, what you get in your little billet box of bliss... Pure concours wax. Period. This is by far THE best waxing experience I have EVER had. As one whom has used other 'ultra premium' waxes. This is the stuff... The be all, end all of waxes. Why? Because it's a creamy smooth wax with a fantastic light scent, its exhilarating to apply this wax to your finish. It goes a very long way, I was able to wax the entire ST with just 2 trips to the billet aluminum pot of magic. Once applied, I was able to easily wipe away the wax to reveal a magical depth, and a simply amazing gloss left on the paint noticeable to me in even low light conditions. Yea, check it out.. My Race Red is looking pretty Orange! Oh boy I might have to order a second pot as a 'reserve stock' I simply love this stuff.
  12. Welcome to So Cal! I'll be in SD on wed to pick up my new AR-15
