  1. SVRT gives them a nice sheen after they are clean.
  2. ^-- Yes! Don't polish matte paint. Matte finishes have no gloss/clear coat, so polishing and waxing are pretty much null and void on matte. About the only thing you can use on a matte finish in waterless wash, and car shampoo. Keep them swirls at bay with a two bucket wash method, because once you have swirls in matte, they are there forever.
  3. Hmm, I've never had strings left behind from dryer sheets. Yes a towel 'contaminated' with fabric softener would definitely leave some ugly looking streaks on a finish. Its hard to say for sure, but if there is only minimal 'strings' in the towels maybe you can pull them out by hand? If you can get the strings out, a simple rewash with some Microfiber Revitalizer should get the rest of the fabric softener out. If that doesn't work, boiling microfiber generally releases all of the contaminates in the towels... For more on boiling on other microfiber questions, see the FAQ thread http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/microfiber-products/14121.htm And welcome to the forums!
  4. its still a lot more than I want to spend on a daily driver... cool package though.
  5. Unfortunatley its 15K for a body upgrade, and performance upgrades are 'extra.' It does look cool, but I'm not a fan of the hood vents.

    Family News!

    Awesome! Congrats Chief!!
  7. As far as I know, no. Most folks are getting the E-Focus RMM for $40-60 and installing themselves... It seems to resolve most of the issue minus wheel hop.
  8. Great work... I still love that car almost 20 years later!
  9. Here's some official photos for ya'll that havent seen it...
  10. I was honestly expecting them to butcher it... I'm pretty impressed, I thing the rear end is a bit over done with that huge rear diffuser. But overall I'd say they did a pretty darn good job with it. I'm sure it will be pushing 60K for one, if I had it, I'd buy one!
  11. Chad's is COBB tuned, so he's pushing closer to 280hp, and 300ft lb of torque... He let me take it for a spin, man if I didn't want to preserve my 5yr/100K warranty I would do that in a heart beat, best bang for the buck around...
  12. Yea I couldn't handle that... My wife and I joke that folks elsewhere would be outside in their skivvies when it's 40 degrees.
  13. Kind of odd our handles are the same on FocusST.org, since before this morning "The Chad" and I had never met each other. Either way, the two of us spent this morning cleanin' up our rides in the friggen freezing cold weather we're experiencing here in so cal. It was a balmy 34 degrees with ice still on my lawn when we got started this morning at 8am. Chad's ride got all the luvin' today since mine was pretty much just in need of a wash, here's the clay bar treatment: After a quick rinse, it was into the garage for some Adam's Quick Sealant and Glass Sealant action, two ST's in the garage was a beautiful thing: We the treated our tires to a fresh coat of Adam's Super VRT, and in Chad's case Super VRT for his plasti-dipped wheels and shot over to the local park for some photography: and my favorite shot of the day (too bad there is a crappy CRV in the background): Hope you got a dose of ST beauty for the day..
