I've been a Chevy guy my whole life... But unfortunately Chevy didn't offer a vehicle matching my needs when I got my Ford. Fun to drive, decent mpg, and fitting the family (easily with 4 doors) isn't something Chevy has or currently offers - mainly fun to drive/fits family easily. I didn't want a foreign car, (STI, GTI, A3, 328i) and the Caddy ATS was too much money for the turbo or v6 model. I can tell you I have never been a Ford guy, ever - as a matter of fact I swore I would never own another ford after the nightmares my wife's '01 focus brought us. BUT BUT BUT, Ford has changed the game with the line of vehicles they are offering.. I absolutely love my Focus ST, its honestly more fun to drive than my camaro ever was. I still don't consider myself a 'Ford Guy' but I'd take just about anything in the Ford line of vehicles over a chevy right now - Mustang excluded.
