  1. Hey Matt. It is nice to see a fellow Iowan here. Where abouts is Kelley Iowa located and do you detail for money or just for yourself.
  2. Hey guys. Just curious which products here are body shop safe. Looking to do some work on a vehicle that was painted about a month ago and paint still needs to gas out. Which products can I apply that will still allow paint to gas out but leave some sort of protection/shine on the paint.
  3. Ok. Yeah. I know about the G&G as a sealant booster, just wasn't sure if there was any benefit to layering the LPS itself or not as adams mentions it on back of bottle.
  4. Hey guys. It's a warm Sunday up here in northern Iowa and I'm taking advantage of that and getting my truck prepped for snow/salt. What I'm wondering is does layering the LPS provide additional protection or last longer on the vehicle through the winter than just a single layer? If so I will apply it a second time after initial application has cured.
  5. Hey guys. Just wondering if I could dilute strip wash in a spray bottle to use as a bug remover from my windows, mirrors, grille/bumper and lights. None of which are painted, just glass, plastic n chrome. It works so well during a wash that is like to try it in this manner if it's acceptable to do so. Thanks.
  6. What combination of product and pad did you use to remove and what was your process
  7. Hey guys. Got a request from a customer on a new 2016 or 2017 gmc Acadia to try and buff out swirls and RIDS on the hard plastic B pillar covers between front and rear door windows. My question is are these clear coated with paint or just plastic only and can they be buffed out with compounds/pads on a DA. Compounds I have to choose from are Megs 105/205 or Adam's correcting compound/finishing Polish. Will be using PC 7424 with Adam's 4" focus pads. What's best method to correct these and which products above would you reach for. I've NEVER corrected these before as most vehicles I do their either painted body color or have a plastic/rubber textured sticker between them that I leave alone and dress. Any help/suggestions/methods would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
  8. Hey guys. I'm using the carpet n upholstery cleaner right now but I'm starting to run low. Can I dilute APC down some for a pretty strong carpet/upholstery cleaner without worry of harming anything? If so what's a good dilution ratios to use. Again I'm looking for a strong stain and spot remover as good as or better than the actual cleaner.
  9. One thing Ivery found with mine is there's no way to dial back the cleaner/water. Just on or off (cleaner or air) and it really saturates the carpets and seats. Guess I could try going at it with valve at 50% and see what happens as long as it doesn't break something.
  10. Ok. Yeah I've got a decent size compressor so I'm not overly worried about air capacity lol
  11. Hey guys I bought a "knock off" if you will tornador type of cleaner. Looking to use it mainly for interior cleaning. Anyone have any idea what type of dilution this needs and can I use different interior products in it for different types of cleaning. Example - carpet n upholstery cleaner for seats and floors? Leather ant interior Cleaner for leather seats and door panels etc. Is it safe to use this type of tool on leather seats etc? New to air cleaning so just want to make sure I know what it is or is not safe to use it on for cleaning. Thanks.
  12. I think it'd be great. Maybe with dilutable product have different dilution ratios on the side and show where to add water to and top off with product to make different dilutions
  13. Thanks guys. I just used the cockpit brush and APC and they came out 95% clean
  14. I did just APC and rinse. Came out almost like new. Not sure if I want to TID em or not. They look decent as is
  15. Hey guys, what's the preferred method around here for effectivly cleaning and dressing weather tech floor liners without leaving a slippery or greasy finish. I've tried SVRT in the past but I got a complaint the liners became very slippery. Any suggestions?
  16. Sweet deal man. My c10 is about to get same treatment but with paint sealant, glaze, patriot wax.
  17. I'd only be breaking out the machine for smokers vehicles, or any other odor complaint
  18. Yeah. Well the vehicle would be unoccupied when running the machine and would be ventilated before removing the machine
  19. I actually found one on ebay that came with a waterproof case as well as an extra hex-tach ozone plate for 155 bucks
  20. Hey guys. Looking at buying an ozone generator to help aid in odor removal in vehicles. Found this unit on ebay for a good price. Anyone have any time with using this particular unit? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=310856981714&alt=web
  21. That's show I was watching. I was skimming through it and probably never saw it
  22. Haven't used em yet as weather hasn't been conducive to washing but I plan to try em out in a week or 2.
  23. I just skimmed through that show and never even saw then washing anything?
