  1. Scored some free gear today that I believe would be perfect for cold/winter washing. Was at my local ducks unlimited annual banquet and there was a game that had decoy gloves as an item to win. Anyway, guess who won em. This guy. Haha. I didn't even think much bout it initially but after getting them in my possession I think they'd make an AWESOME cold weather washing glove. Here's a pic and link to where they were purchased prior to being won. They have 100g of thinsulate inside em as well. http://m.scheels.com/shop/en/scheels-catalog/midwest-glove-pvc-decoy-gloves-072264-330-l4
  2. Being in the detail business for a while now I can say with everyone else that every vehicle is different. I started out witha menu style pricing which worked ok for a while, I now use a combination of menu and estimating. I have set pricing for lower end jobs such as basic wash and basic interior. I've now started estimating larger jobs including paint correction. Most jobs that include paint correction have been estimated and priced in the 500 to 1000 dollar range for me. Obviously this all depends on severity of vehicle damage as well as size of vehicle. I also tend to keep a paint correction Jon from a friend night until Sunday which gives me ample time to complete. I could go into way more detail but I figured I'd just keep it simple for ya.
  3. I'm a truck driver. Delivering all the diff stuff that makes this world go around haha.
  4. Glad I stumbled across this post. Found out last weekend that my 3rd brake light seal had given out and began to leak. Anyway, I didn't realize it until my girlfriend asked me about water marks on my headliner. Anyway, sure enough I have gross Brown water marks above my back window. Any recommendations on how to go about getting these out without releasing the glue on my head liner and causing it to sag? Picture attached. Can see water mark above plastic on rear pillar where seat belt is housed behind door and most obvious Mark is below clothes hanger hook.
  5. Hey guys. Does anyone here know if adams APC can be diluted down and used as a more aggressive carpet/upholstery cleaner if the carpet/upholstery cleaner isn't quite cutting it for certain stains etc? If so what dilution should it be set at. 4:1, 10:1 etc?
  6. Not sure. Here's the description from their website. http://procarbyscat.com/seat/80-1606-64l
  7. Hey guys. I just bought a set of used procar racing seats for my c10. They seats need some MAJOR TLC in the cleaning dept. Just not sure what exactly velour material is and how to care for it vs normal upholstery. Here's a picture of the seats in their current state.

  13. False - I have a snowmobiling addiction That needs taken care of The next person ordered 3 or more mystery boxes yesterday/this morning
  14. Borch icons here as well. Make sure you pay attention to the blades if they have an A and B option for your size blades. The A and Breakfast signify which side of the vehicle the wiper is made for/will work best on. My truck requires an A and B side. Also if you didn't know the left side of the vehicle is drivers side. Vehicle side is noted from sitting in drivers front seat.
  15. Thought I should add I purchased the small 4 bottle bag today as well that I'll use to hold either my clean or dirty towels from car shows I attend etc as to not muck up the inside of my big bag or get product on new fresh towels that I've just wiped off my vehicle.
  16. My thought too. Maybe I should try starting with like 10 grit sandpaper?
