  1. I love these cars! Bluegencoupe has one as well blue and it is sweet as well! I like the blacked out look!
  2. Dylan, some are wet sanding canidates (which I may live with on DD) others not detected with finger nail but flex and 2 3 step rounds with improvement yes. Technique most likely could use some improvement would be maybe one area to shorten the game up. Dramatic improvement swirls gone but lots of what I think maybe scratches or a few anyways. If I may one flex question. Hood has two creases running down about 1/2, 1/4 inch raise and a 7 to 8 inch space between. I just run the flex over in parelle (sp) and oposite (no heat buildup on pads) so do I need to worry about edges here? I would think not as long as your moving??
  3. Here a question for the masses, How many have used the flex and still found a fair number of imperfection left afterwords? This after the 3 step completed. These imperfections would now be scratches in my opion and this is were the focus pad comes in. SO, how many of us are seeing 6 or more areas needing focus pad work when doing our detailing?
  4. I just done my wifes trunck lid with the flex I just bought and man was I impressed !! I divided the lid into two portions and did one pass with FMP and took a look and I was off and running over to my neighbours to show him! Just this one pass in like 10 minutes would have taken me 3-4 PC passes with SHR in the mix. My nieghbour is buying one. Now mind you this is on a toally flat suface no ridges or curves but I can only think with care one would have no issues with the flex here. I should have done this long ago, BUY A FLEX!!
  5. Yes, more photos please? Did you use 4" pads? Did you tape off all the areas needing tape? How about the plexiglass shield, what process did you use here to clean?
  6. Man swirl city!! Looks great now.
  7. What power washer is that a Force Power or some name like this??
  8. So guys, Anyone give this any thought? Your door jams and hinges are extremly greasy (light) and grime all over. You spry with APC and use brush and dampen water with 3-3 oz of APC to wipe followed by DS. WW will not cut grime as well I found so it is out of this one. SO, here is the ? Will the APC promote rust or hinge issues as it is slightly acidic I would assume??
  9. Now, swirls and scratches are two different issues. How deep are the sratches, may need wet sanding ( don't try this a home boys and girls, unless you have much experience) If your picking up the scratches with your finger nail you may have to accept them as is. OR wet sand. Swirls, sounds like your on your way on these be patience black is very tough to get perfect if ever!
  10. Not yet for me. Soon on my motorcycle I'm thinking.

  13. Ok folks how do you tell on the 4" pads the difference between gen 4 and 3 pads as they look the exact same to me?? Have not yet looked at the bigger ones for same thought although there will be a PC to Flex gen 3.
  14. If your paint reacts to polishing with the PC like my white (no less) Honda fit did you will be more then pleased! Polishing just takes it to a whole new level!!
  15. Oh, you have to do better then this. Did you use sealant or americana.
  16. So are you going to share how?
  17. 4 0000 steel wool is suppose to do wonders. Pronounced 4 ott

  20. Sorry, what does "grain of brush only" mean?
  21. Please let us know your lighting set up and approach. I've found a good way for me recently on finding swirls on doors and sides of my white Honda Fit. I set a 500w single light on floor pointing up slighlty from back door forword about three feet to the side. Seemed to show swirls well. Now just have to correct, flex on the way!
  22. My nieghbour bought a white one, I've yet to get a close look to offer the Adams treatment.
