Rich, I use the magic eraser on where we put the soap and on the backing boards. Works pretty good, just doesn't get the iron stains off.
-
I actually think the Adams is safer. When I use the iron out I had to turn on the fan and it made me cough and gag. The Adams didn't irritate my lungs at all.
-
Today I was cleaning out shower and usually I use Iron Out as a presoak since our water is hard and full of iron/rust. When I sprayed it on part of the shower that had visible orange tint on it, I noticed the Iron Out turned purple and thats when it all clicked in my head, "Why not use Adam's Wheel Cleaner?". So I rinsed down the shower and went and got my Wheel Cleaner.
Even after cleaning the shower once with Iron Out the changes were extremely noticeable with Wheel Cleaner. Wheel Cleaner did such a better job at cleaning and removing the iron in the tub/shower. I even dilute my Wheel Cleaner 1:1 (50% Water : 50% Product).
The blackness you see on the shower is from the Wheel Cleaner being activated, remember I had already cleaned the entire shower once with Iron Out.
I will not be buying any more Iron Out after today. I will just use my Wheel Cleaner & Wheel Brush.

I see that but it doesn't show the newest posted threads, it shows the most recent posts which includes replies. Not the same thing as before.
-
How do I get the most recent posts to show up on the side of the forum home screen on the new layout?

Holiday Season starts in 2 days... Depressing. I miss summer already.

I'm sure there's a better spot for this, but......
Does anyone have any of the Adams golf balls? They aren't available on the site anymore, and while this may seem kind of trivial, just looking to buy one. I'll buy the entire three pack if necessary, but looking to add one to my golf ball case, not looking to buy it to actually play with it.
If anyone has one, let me know, PM me, email me, etc.
Thank you!!
Same boat. If you end up buying an entire 3 pack, I'll buy 1 from you for my case.

I would agree with everything here except for the spray wax offering next to no protection part as it depends on what company offers it. I have personally seen around a solid 2 months out of a certain companies spray wax with some good beading and UV protection. That being said, HGG trumps all the spray waxes I have tried by a long shot!
Most of those products are probably Sealants but they market them as a "Wax" because some people don't understand the difference between a Wax and Sealant.
-
HGG has a dry application method as well and is a spray sealant. IMO a Spray Wax is useless, wax is just a topper to last a few days and offers next to no protection. I'd use HGG dry application if you want to do it when the car isn't wet. If you don't want to use HGG and just want a spray on topper, use Detail Spray.

I've only seen that issue when people put them in the washing machine.

Man does that name look familiar for some reason! Where about in IL?

Or Langka.
Langka is more expensive, doesn't come with the paint and can be more difficult to use.
I've used both and prefer Dr ColorChip WAY above Langka.
-
I'll have to order a paint pen from my dealer
Dr. Colorchip kit will probably be cheaper.
-
Dr ColorChip and do what Dan said if you aren't going to go the repaint way.

I was looking at this one as well, how good is the pressure when using it? Can you adjust the head to do a flat spray pattern?
I'm not sure if you can do flat. It's more of a spray bottle tip. The pressure is good and it seems to stay pressurized for quit a while. Usually 1 gallon of liquid, I can pump it up fully 3-4 times and empty the entire gallon.
-
I don't use it on my truck but I use it for the lawn and it works great. Has a good adjustable spray head.
Not a fan of battery operated ones... Then you have to worry about batteries and electronics going bad. Pump sprayers last forever if taken care of.

Ok so for Detail Spray you should wipe it off once, flip the towel over to get the left over and buff off slight hazing.
As far as linting, that all comes to how you wash the towels... Use cold water, a non-scented detergent (preferably with no dyes), and tumble dry with no heat. There are some good videos out their by a MF Towel manufacturer but I don't think I'd be allowed to post them here.

Any takers? I'm open to pretty much anything. I'd hate to see it go bad.
