Stuck on porch with herniated disc in my back. Sucks

If your going to throw down that much cash on a polisher as the cyclo why not get a flex. It has great capabilities and quick results. I have a pc as well setup now for small areas with the four inch pads. Inmo you can't go wrong with the pc for a learner tool and then when your ready to step up to a flex or rupes the pc still has value with the four inch pads for tight area and for glazing and sealing. You can't go wrong with the pc for the deal Adams has for it

Thanks for all your responses. I am checking all the videos. I was thinking the same thing about using the 2 bucket method. I recently installed an electric power washer on my wall and have a foaming lance. Kinda like a mini car wash station. This and Adams products are my new set up for detailing my cars. I guess I will get a machine and try it on my truck first. The car needs little correcting so it should be fairly easy once I get the process down.
Watching the videos is key for anyone just starting out. Watch them several times you will pick up so many good pointers and tips.

Tony you will love the stuff.

BTW the detail bay looks nice. I like the rack setup

so is this the new DD?

It works well on trim and holds up just as well as it does on the paint.

Update:
Sat. I did a rinseless wash/HGG combo. So now with two applications of HGG I couldn't be happier. Very little maintence in between. Essentially one WW and DS session about a week ago. The total time i took this round was approx 1hr as i did the wheels and tires full clean and svrt application and glass clean and seal as well. The HGG holds up really nice and the time it saves is exponential.

^^^^this is true.
need to think about the climate/area you work in as well. Having both I can say if you work in a cold climate that pressure washer for your foam cannon isn't going to do anything but sit stored all winter long so its much easier to grab the foam gun in those situations, but for sure the cannon makes an incredible amount of foam...

Tap the wheel. should sound like plastic. I have them on the wife's 2009 g6 gxp. They are starting to flake now. so don't feel bad its not just ford that is doing it

Are you sure they aren't chrome clad
Which is basically and plastic chrome cover over a reg steal wheel -
Metal polish is not intended for clear coat wheel.

ok, i did watch the vids and i did get some stuff answered - as well as bring up more questions!
first of all, i didnt realize i needed both the microfiber AND foam pads - all i got was the foam pads, will those suffice? those will work. you can use either or really. the white foam is the only finishing pad that is available right now.
secondly, they never really discussed foam pad usage throughout the vehicle as far as pads loading up and how to clean on the fly. you can use the brush between panels or get an extra set or two. and clean all when your done w/ apc and water
On the leather cleaning video adam almost made it sound as though to use the leather conditioner on the leather as well as vinyl and rubber? Did i hear this right or was he talking about the leather/int. cleaner and not the conditioner. you can use them both on all those interior surfaces. i usually clean and treat with them then maintain with Total interior detailer
S VRT on vinyl/rubber prior to correction - does this ELIMINATE the need to tape off in case of polisher slip onto a window seal etc as far as white residue or is taping still recommended. it does eliminate in most cases
ill ask more as i continue to think stuff up.

Zach have you checked out the Adams videos. Many of the questions you have can be answered thru them

Here is the thread that talks to "blooming" tires.
http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/27661-pro-tip-tire-blooming-and-why-your-tires-turn-brown/
-
Rick are you applying HGG to the tires?
APC to clean and either VRT or Tire shine should be all you need. Tires turn brown on their own. Outgassing. theres a nice thread on here from DVK that explains the whole brown tire / dirty tire deal. New tires are more susseptible
-
Gabe, its looking good
-
Nice write up Rich. looks goods. It really is a nice and easy and product to use. I was stunned on the amount of shine it has. I just topped my last weeks application with a Waterless wash and some detail spray.
-
Did he use the Master Blaster before or after applying the HGG?
After the application. last step was to use the the master blaster
-
^^^ yes this is how I have done it. Jason's ideas in post #14 with adding waterless wash or a bit of rinsless sounds like a great idea, what I will try in the future. Why buy more products if you don't need to. more cost effective
