  1. I too, spent some good money on some even better Adam's products, now I am knee-deep in repairing & reinstalling our 15-year old dishwasher that has been leaking (unbeknownst to us) for who knows how long. Floor and subfloor were still solid, so it's a reseal, new hoses, and back into the slot! BTW, I used LOTS of APC to clean the old girl up! The wife is looking at me and nodding very slowly as she backs out of the kitchen.
  2. Beautiful job, Jae! I enjoyed your writeup as well-a little humor goes a long way!
  3. I like the signs! Although I'm one of the guys that hangs out in the shop with the techs as they do their thing; plus the owner of my dealership is a sponsor as well as a member of SVGTO--so they understand my quirks!
  4. All I can say is WOW, that thing has its own zip code! I agree with Dave (BRZN) on the time factor. I think I'd want an army of Minions to assist and a swamp cooler in the garage to get that ambient under triple digits. You're a good man, Dylan!
  5. Thanks for resurrecting this one, AJ--I'm thinking a Dagwood over the weekend will be in order! It will be my reward for finding the wife's Subaru under all the dirt and assorted cruddy salt:banana:
  6. Yes, thanks Dylan and to the Mods (Chris squared?). Part of what makes this forum so much fun is that you do not have to wade through ANY offensive posts or obnoxious behaviors. Keep up the good work, all!
  7. Ray, I didn't know that you were taking pics at my house!
  8. Everyone's pictures are GREAT--Ray and another of his ideas...Good Man!
  9. Pretty impressive Dak, thanks for joining in with the rest of us show-offs! There are some truly impressive rides shown on here and I am humbled. These all take time, lots of effort, and copious amounts of cash. Very few of us have all three at the same time, so we do what we can do in stages. Forums like this one are precisely what we need; nice people, friendly banter, and great ideas. Thanks to all
  10. I will use this technique on the wife's Subaru tomorrow at bath time--anything to keep the car from turning back into a mass of swirls. Our hard water here waterspots in 30 seconds and just make a mess of the World's Softest Paint Black Forester.
  11. Okay, Here's mine. It was a bit dusty after driving to work and to a quarry last week--really! Hopefully these pics will load as expected--my first time! Be gentle... BTW, I'm torn about the cover, but the dang engine is UGLY without it!
  12. Ray, I'll PM you some more info so as not to run too far off this thread. Don't want to be banned...
  13. Ray, We Stryker Blue folk need to stick together! Honestly I don't drive the car as much as a normal person--my daily commute is a 1/2 mile walk so it usually sits in the garage. I was the only SBM at Carlisle though, and our club members with GTO's definitely outnumber the G8 guys! You could be one more... If you'll be around this Saturday (9/18), you should motor out to Neffsville for the car show @ Manheim Twp Community Park (just off 501 in Neffsville). I'll be there with the SVGTO club guys & gals; it would be great to meet you! On another note, I have the shipping information from those tremendous Adam's folks--my leather conditoner should be here in time to give my interior a much-needed drink:lolsmack:
  14. Well that settles it, I need to get some REAL leather conditioner--all of your interiors look fantastic! Mine is a 1-1/2 year old with only 7500 miles so I thought it was clean and spiffy till I saw these, now I'm embarassed. Time for Adam's order #2 in as many weeks...
