  1. Having our space program cut sickens me, Especially from a certain individual in office that PROMISED he would not cut the program. I cant figure out for the life of me why he's up in florida and gaining a sizable lead...I guess they just need to run His promises in florida and show how bad off Canaveral is, whats worse is were paying the russians to send AMERICANS to the space station This excites me though, i wouldn't be surprised if this mission gets cut in the middle of their research though NASA is amazing, it i dont think many people understand what it is they do, ERR i mean our Camander and chief and the left dont have a clue. America needs to be first in everything and this current administration is taking that away
  2. Dude it's only the greatest invention to the detailing world since the sham wow! Its a bunch of crap loaded with silicone.
  3. Here is one, but i dont think its true reading more into it BMW posted 8:23 so we'll go with that one sorry man! MINI JCW GP Revealed With 8:19 Nurburgring Lap Time | AutoGuide.com News
  4. wow really? for how tiny the battery is im thrilled with how long it takes to die. Also the charger is a 15 minute charger so its quick. If i charge them in the morning ill get a full days of hard work out of them. Maybe you got a faulty battery
  5. you and i both man. My mini is actually metallic and i HATE it. it takes away from the depth of the black. its has just enough flek in it to "dull it" when shes clean she actually looks stunning on a bright *cloudy day* then when the sun comes out it looks like poo I feel like on black cars if they insist on making it metallic then it has got to be more metallic then base especially on black. Like my dads audi has so much metallic flek in it it changes colors and is awesome looking, lincoln also has an amazing pearl black which is incredible. on other colors like blues and reds i feel like they need metalic
  6. wow nice job...$10 tip? you deserve much more then that what a trashed truck
  7. I purchased the makita drill/driver kit 3 1/2 years ago pretty much to the day. When i went to use it today i was devastated when i pulled the trigger and just the LED light came on. I couldnt get anything to come out of it, I was pretty bummed and was going to go to HD and buy another kit But i thought i would tear it apart to see if i could do anything to fix it first. Pulled it apart and low and behold the wire came loose from the trigger and also noticed that the positive wire to the motor was loose too, soldered them both back to their terminals and Voila!! worked like the day I bought her. The Batteries have lasted 3 1/2 years and haven't lost their use time at all! This driver has been through alot, dropped from two stories onto concrete, dropped from a roof into a mud puddle, kicked, consistently dropped from a 4ft ladder height, kicked and tossed around in the back of the van. Also had a 12 ft 6x6 drop dead on it from an incompetent grunt on a job site. Not to mention what i Drive with it; constant lag bolts, concrete anchors etc. Shes just a tank I have no doubt i have another 2-3 years more out of the kit
  8. Yup its insane how well they hold their value, its literally cheaper to buy a new one because of the interest rate difference on a new vs used, any savings gets quickly eaten up. add aftermarket accessories and you can make money! i was floored when there was a year old wrangler wrangler with 20k miles literally 1k less then the sticker of a new one
  9. This job was yesterday, i wish i could have gotten more pictures but these are what i did get. I wish this looked as involved as it was, on the surface it looks easy but man was this a hell of a job. this house has had many many additions so when you think your home free with a wire pull there was something else in the way that we had to fish around I was at my last whit before i was going to tell customer that we had to cut holes/patch when i tried one last time and did the last pull out of pure luck. Samsung 60" The sound bar below the samsung TV is custom bilt to the exact fit/form of the TV so it looks like it came from the factory. The speakers are built by a few guys in Anne Arbor Michigan, takes them about 3 weeks from design to shipped to the office. house gets closed up in a few weeks to go off to another one of their houses for the winter. two access holes were covered by a plywood spacer board trimed out on the edges and painted satin black to accommodate the depth of the sound-bar. Customer was ADAMIT about the height of the TV And this is for the hall of shame thread. There were rear speakers in place from a previous system that got ripped out, there pass threw's were lightswitch cover literarily glued to the wall. It would have just been easier for them to do a low voltage ring and screw it in, the hole they cut was 5/8" too small so i had to take my fein tool for the cabinetry and then enlarged the other side in drywall.. BTW: this is from the largest and biggest firms in the Philly market, also nationally known, notice lamp cord as speaker wire?
  10. as a 1 1/2 man shop it is very hard for me to answer phone calls all the time, i try to the best i can but most seem to come in when im in the field at the top of a ladder with a speaker,tv in my hand pulling wire etc. I usually cannot call back until the following morning, I try todo it sooner but most times i cant I actually prefer emails because i can answer them in the field quickly and let them know i received the message but im in the field and will respond with a full message as soon as i can get back to the office.
  11. You need a shallow well ( bladder pump), it shuts off the pump as soon as you depress the trigger on the hose it also turns it on as soon as you press the trigger. Most output between 55-85 gpm which is normal household pressure. I designed and built a detailing trailer for someone so I know the ins and outs of one Here's the one I used, worked like a champ, especially with a gas pressure washer. Is your trailer open or closed? If its open make sure you cover this! 1 Horsepower Shallow Well Pump with Stainless Steel Housing
  12. Mook, if you want me to ill do a comparison video on the audi rims, one rim with GWC, one with APC and the other with Fancy color changing wheel cleaner, ill do it closed so just the adams team sees it. it is a HUGE difference, GWC/APC doesnt touch the brake dust and even with agitation there is still brake residue, fancy cleaner is pretty much spray, wait/hose. i agitate deep in the barrels and hard to reach areas but if on the face/sides its spotless. it really is phenomenal stuff, i wish adams would make their own version, and an iron cut product for the paint. Not trying to be smart or anything but do you understand why it changes color and how it works? Its a different tool for the battle, like i said GWC works perfect on my mini's rims and Nissan van, GWC doesnt touch my moms yukon rims but APC works great on that where fancy wheel cleaner doesnt do much of anything on the above listed it depends on the brake pads installed on the car
  13. assuming he has OEM pads when the previous owner replaced them "fancy color changing wheel cleaner" isnt going todo much if anything since they are not irony like the germans use. my mini's brakes dont seem as bad either since Mini swiched to a less sticky brake pad so i just use GWC which works good. Now on the A6 thats another story, Fancy color changing wheel cleaner is the only thing that keeps me from sitting there for 2 hours cleaning American cars dont seem to matter whether you use fancy cleaner or APC/GWC even my NV doesnt do well with fancy cleaner Ethan, pull your tires and spray some APC cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes, dont let it dry though and continue to agitate. its going to take a while then after they are done and dry hit them with QS and call it day. also looks like you need to get some focus pads and polish em
  14. Nope Quite the opposite Here's a teaser pic, i pulled the sport off for him and he added these geckos, pretty cool touch if you ask me. The only thing that is holding me back from getting a wrangler is im not thrilled with the 2013 color options once the current colors get disco'd in december like Cherry red, gecko etc. I would love a 100% blacked out wrangler unlimited but i reallyyyy dont want another black vehicle, besides the blacked out wrangler has been overplayed and i would be taking it off road. the second reason is because like i said; it will totally deplete my bank account, no joke i have big plans for a wrangler i have always been an audi/bimmer guy and ultimately would be cheaper for my wallet to go with the 3er, and the new 3 series is an incredible car. I just LOVE how "RAW" the wrangler is, my brothers stick is awesome, i love how it vibrates and shifts around when going over bumps. and you cant take the doors off a 3er...its going to be a really hard decision New car prep to come really soon!
  15. That deep cherry red is incredible adamsized! My brother just got a 2012 Gecko pearl sport s Wrangler (6speed). hes getting the smittybuilt modular bumper and some Ridgid Dually's. After the bumper hes going to get some 33" trail grapplers and a 2.5" lift (mainly because he doesnt want to deal with getting a bigger drive shaft) he LOVES his stock rims so he's just going to get them powder coated matte black (they are plastidiped right now because he wasnt sure about keeping them or not) Looks awesome! thos M'T's are awesome!! i seriously have an unlimited in my sites. having a hard time deciding between the wrangler or a new 3 series, im afraid if i get a wrangler my bank account will be depleted before the first payment is due and I want to take her off roading too, which can get me into trouble
  16. as long as they are cleared i dont see an issue. It shouldnt be any different then polishing your paint!
  17. do a wipe with some IPA, i can still see some polishing oils
  18. the 65F series is a great TV! i sold the crap out of them when they first came out around Christmas time of 2007 GLWS!!
  19. I guess you guys arnt taking your sweet new camper out this weekend But on a happy note our ok and that's all that matters
  20. I agree I would be a happy camper if I could just get a new container, I assume this would be much easier for you guys too I have no problem melting my broken Americana into a new jar!
  21. Thanks Adam! do we need to let Ashley know its coming or will the warehouse crew know what todo when they see the americana jar? should we also add "replace jar" on the receipt? Or i suppose i could be sent a new jar and melt down the wax again, after my fiasco with the slip lock pliers my americana is split up in a bunch of little pieces.. Whats easier for you guys?
  22. yeah curious too, Im not exaggerating when I say I had to take some large slip lock pliers to get the lid off last week
