Is the white microfiber pad the same as the orange in cut?

My $100 black and decker isn't so bad. I bought it at Sears.

That's cool. Just wondering what happened to them. It's the same product as we know, but just checking.

Did you guys discontinue the official General Motors labeled products? Just wondering.

Most of the people at the dealership think we're nuts. Plus the people that like the "free" car washes don't care about the damage that is caused. They think the car looks clean. Even if we just ignored swirl marks and judged the car on being clean, the car still isn't clean. Those car washed do not clean the car as well as a two bucket wash at home. There are water spots everywhere and most of the dirt is still on the car. You see how bad these car washed are on black paint.

They look good. Like nothing happened.

I saw them at night in a lit parking lot. Hopefully let look good in daylight.

Rims were repaired. I can't tell they were damaged. All ended well.

I'll let everyone know how it went on Tuesday evening.

They have offered to repair it Tuesday next week.

I spoke to the service manager and he asked me to email him the photos. He was polite about it. I was expecting the worse. He was actually pleasant.

I didn't bring it up to them because I am not sure I can prove they did it. I am sure they did it. They look like curb scratches on two rims. Not sure how they did it.

I took my 2013 Chevy Malibu in for service Saturday and I just noticed that the dealership ruined the alloy rims on the car. It looks like he curbed the front right tire and the back right tire. Is it possible that a tire rotation could cause so much damage?

Do you have a pad cleaning brush? That could help. All Purpose Cleaner really does a good job with the pads with warm water.

Since Tire Shine is a spray my guess is it will deplete faster than a cream like VRT. Tire Shine in my opinion looks nicer than VRT.

I only use the white polish and mf pad on my car usually. If the car doesn't need much correcting use the the white combo.

The white polish can do some serious work with the MF pad.

I just did my wife's car with the paint correcting polish and orange microfiber pad. One step. It came out real nice and swirl free. The paint looked so good it didn't need the paint finishing polish.

How did you get it so fast? Mine hasn't even left the warehouse.

I have 2-3 of those. Use them all the time while detailing.

I think Adams Machine Super Wax looks great on black cars. I still have a 1/2 bottle and used it on a car I detailed yesterday. It came out amazing. The bad thing about the product is the 24 hour "set up" time before you can put anything over it.
