  1. Working a car show Saturday, spend Sunday & Monday with the family since the next weekend will be booked with a 3 day show.
  2. I will be set up at the 10th Annual Texas Showdown in Houston, Texas at Sam Houston Race Park. I'll be out there from Friday noon until Sunday when the show ends. Look for my booth set up next to the Mad Gear hot rod apparel booth. Event Website: 2012 Texas Showdown | Heat Wave Custom Truck and Car Shows I'll be putting a shine on Mad Gear's vehicles during the show.
  3. Mid-Tex Corvette Club will be holding their Memorial Day car show May 26, 2012. The show is open to all makes and models and registration begins at 5pm Saturday, awards to be handed out starting at 9pm. Location: Harker Heights, Texas community park off of FM 2410. Contact info can be found at www.mtcctx.com I will be set up and there to answer questions and help where I can.
  4. I don't see that one blending in very well. But this, yeah it blends in with the rest.
  5. You wouldn't have noticed me, I was in the family car. Ford Flex, just kind of blends in with the rest of the mini van looking rides out there.
  6. I thought I saw you Saturday morning! Passed you on 281 just south of Blanco around 0745, I was headed south to New Braunfels. The truck went by and then it dawned on me that it was probably you, so I waved. lol..
  7. CTCC has a group on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ctc5c/ Request to join, they are great folks and always have something going on for the group in Killeen and the area.
  8. Thought it looked like my neighborhood. My home is just down the road from Hood in Burnet, TX. Enjoy your time in the hill country. Also we are having a car show May 26th, the Mid Tex Corvette club is putting it on. I'm sure they would be more than happy to have you come. Have you gotten in touch with the folks at Central Texas Camaro Coalition? They meet every Friday night at Home Depot in Killeen, good bunch of folks.
  9. Looks nice man, are these pics taken in Houston? Looks a little hilly for this area.
  10. Nice change, the new wheels kind of "frame" the rotors and calipers. With the old ones my eye went more for the red lip, I like the new look. Showcase the brakes and the new wheels look better IMO. Very nice man.
  11. Sweet! I have been putting mine in bags when I get them since I first became a dealer last year. A zip-lock style bag and a decal with my contact info on it, about $ 0.12 per towel but good advertising.
  12. Yeah, Companion. I couldn't think of the name but that's it.
  13. I have a Holland stainless grille, it's a small one. Perfect for tailgating or camping trips, not large enough for back patio grilling though. It is well built and I would imagine if their small ones are good the larger ones would be just as well built. Looks real similar in shape to the one you posted, but it stands on little legs instead of the base. Has a handle at the top for toting around too.
  14. I got mesmerized watching your feet, they were moving man. Nice video.
  15. Bought a lot of parts from Summit and Jegs, no complaints about either one. Good companies.
  16. Congrats man, I have a friend who did it in Austin last year. He said it was one of the hardest things he had ever done, this from a 32 year old guy who doesn't have an ounce of fat on him and is strong as an ox. You should be very proud of yourself. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
  17. Keep your finger on the nozzle and try not to just pop it when releasing after spraying. It's not due to residue in the nozzle. I have been having the same problem with brand new cans. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2

    I'm famous!

I have a Dynatech SuperMaxxx kit in my '06 Silverado. Crop that air injection pipe off of the #2 primary tube and have them coated, Jet Hot did mine in Silver Luster. Coating has held up nicely and they aren't blue or cruddy looking after almost 2 years of use. There are cheaper headers out there, but I wanted the best and wasn't all that worried about the cost as much as I wanted them to last and not leak. So far so good. Congrats on making it big. Your truck is BA.
  20. Awesome job, the truck looks better than new.
