  1. How come you get the prototypes? I have a black car I should get first dibs.
  2. Nice, what do you have in that thing?
  3. Dude that silverado looks sic, what'd you use? And as for the 7 hours detailing the F-150 - I take close to 7 hrs just doing the outside of my car, i'd be there for a week doing that truck! Maybe I'm just really slow but idk!
  4. OMG. What ever he does for a living is what I need to sign up for.
  5. hah yeah, I think people are surprised to see me walking out've it and not someone twice my age. Challenger is garaged for the most part, when she gets dirty again I'll blast the undercarriage before I take it to get a car wash.
  6. I hate using microfiber because it ALWAYS sheds everywhere my windows hate me. ^ it's on the outside glass, dont even get me started on the inside. Cleaning the inside windshield is another feat in itself!
  7. Thanks for the comments, and yeah I have to spray down the undercarriage I can't imagine what it looks like down there.
  8. You're absolutely right, in the garage it looks fine. The second it goes outside I'm like .
  9. I tell ya what, if you do a detailing seminar here in New York - I'll let you take her for a spin. Thanks! Absolutely love this car. Had an R/T Charger that I traded in for it and it's night and day - I don't miss the Charger at all. The power, the design, everything about it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it. I'm thinking of getting the plates "EGO TRIP" because thats exactly what it is. The amount of people that I've talked to over the past 2 months that I've had it is nuts. This car turns heads like nothing else I've had. It's funny talking to guys that're 50 or so who had the original Challenger/CUDA's when they were my age (I'm 21). And being a huge fan of old school MOPAR in particular it's cool to find people out there that're still into it.
  10. Thanks, wish I were a better photographer. Took about 80 pictures today and they came out kinda eh. Oh well.
  11. Here are some pictures of my Challenger's first detail. This detail was my first using the PC. As I mentioned before in another thread I was dissappointed because I didn't quite get the results I was expecting but then again chances are I wasn't doing something right. Anyway, I clay barred, combined S&H with FMP on white pad, followed by MSW. This is two weeks and one wash later because I couldn't get a decent break in the weather. Took about 80 pics today but the sun ruined alot of em. Enjoy! BEFORE: AFTER:
  12. Clay bar with the all purpose cleaner followed by a bsg on the window sounds like a good idea I might have to try that one. It's not water spots or anything its like a haze it's the weirdest thing. It drives me crazy. I'm weary about using microfiber because when I use microfiber i get the fibers all over the window.
  13. I consider myself to be somewhat well rounded when it comes to auto-detailing. Sure, I'm not a pro, but my car always looks superclean. I do however have a problem, and that problem is my windows. I don't know what my problem is but I cannot EVER get my windows to be perfectly clear. I've clay barred them, used different techniques (paper towels, newspaper, microfiber, even a squeegee!) and no matter what I do I will always have spots where there's a sort of haze on my window. Being the anal person that I am when it comes to detailing it drives me absolutely nuts. And the spots where the haze exists is rather rough and needs to be resprayed with cleaner (I've tried windex, perfect glass, and adams glass cleaner) to remove the spot but it only appears on yet another spot. I'm at my wits end I can't take it anymore. Can anyone help me?!
  14. Don't worry about it, as mentioned before my neighbor from all the way down the block with a completely different address called me the next day. So I did infact detail it that weekend. Just took a bunch of pictures today as it was the only break in the weather that we've been given for awhile. Stay tuned to the CARS section for pictures.
  15. Nah the interior doesn't bother me, usually goes pretty quick. I'm hoping this weather clears up soon I want to see what this thing looks like in the outside world.
