  1. Jaggass.....lol..... Yessir!! 1) Need to use my supply, don't believe in throwing anything away, lol. And I know the new compound is coming out, lol. 2) I had time that night. Had a couple buddies over and we were chillin & havin' "beverage" so it was a leisure job, and I wasn't pressed for time. Thanks for the replies fellas!!
  2. Insane Paint Auto Detailing is off to a running start. Things are good. Website, Facebook, Instagram, Business Cards, Networking, all of those things are moving along nicely. But what I'm trying to figure out now, from you pros (and I'd like it if some of you "elitist" shops would chime in), is what are some things in the past few years, that have saved you TIME? What tools or products have sped up your wash/dry process? Your polishing process? I'm trying to figure out how I can charge the same, but get done faster. And let me clarify, I'm a hard worker, I don't sit around and text or any other BS, so consider that a given. But I'm also a one-man show. Please give me your top 5 time-savers that you've experienced!!
  3. Yessir. Lol. I know what you mean!! I laid my hands on my Charger for the first time today in a MONTH!!! It was freakin' righteous baby.....
  4. Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy work brother!! DIG IT. What an experience my friend! DAYUM!! Happy for ya!!!!
  5. Dude.....you KILLED IT!!! Great work buddy. Feels good doesn't it??
  6. All these guys speak the truth....but so do I. You won't be disappointed. PERIOD. I wouldn't be so much concerned about whether or not you'll get your money back. If I were YOU, my main concern would be if I could find a 2nd job to afford all the other products I'm gonna buy!!! Because YOU WILL WANT MORE when you see the results of your first order!!!
  7. Kudos brother!! HAAAAAAAAPPY for ya man!! Big daddy rollin!!! :)
  8. Good solid review. I do wish it was a tad bit bigger as well. Like maybe room for ONE more bottle per side, and about 2" wider to fit more stuff in the middle, I have to lay my Americana tub on it's side, whereas I'd like to lay it FLAT in the middle. I will say this though. I LIVE outta this bag, and for the 3 months I've been using it like crazy, it's held up 100% amazing so far!!
  9. I'm not going to replicate what everyone else already said. I agree, they do cut faster, and that's a HUGE benefit to me. I feel they also finish down finer. The pad brush will stay in your back pocket so it's readily available. But I DIG the ones we're "protoyping" and am VERY eager for their release. Basically here: -Cut faster -Finish finer -But get clogged quicker R&D is crucial in finishing the ones we're working on. Because we simply want them to CRUSH the competition's options. Be patient, and just know that when they DO COME OUT, they'll be phenomenal.....
  10. Righteous man! DIG it! Very cool color!
  11. Weeeeelcome from AL brutha!! What he ^^ said!!
  12. I hit those puppies with some steel wool, thinking the same thing. But they're literally like a "charcoal" finish!! Weird.....
  13. Lmao Gary!!!! 1) I will say the prototype FMP stays "open" a bit longer & I LOVE that. The prototype compound cuts like no other. (all I can say for now) 2) You have to be a sexy man-beast. 3) No photos brutha. That would get me real quick!!!
  14. I have a dual fluorescent overhead, 2 single 500W halogens on each side, and 800 lumens LED coming from the front, a movable single 500W Halogen to help me with lower body panels, and a movable dual 500W (so 1000W) halogen setup on a tripod. I looooooove the LED dude!!! In time, I will slowly switch over to full LED: Husky 5 ft. 800 Lumen Portable Led Work Light-WL800LP-H at The Home Depot Husky 5 ft. 1720 Lumen Led Work Light with Tripod-WL1720LT-H at The Home Depot Husky 5 ft. 2500 Lumen Multi Directional LED Work Light-3PL-TP-DF-24W at The Home Depot But up next is a floor coating...... Yes.......I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE both of them. Definite improvements!!! We're not even quite to beta testing yet. Still kinda in the developmental stages. But I'll tell ya, you're gonna be STOKED. That's about all I can say for now.
  15. Thank you gentlemen!! Mook, you make me giggle, lol.....
  16. Revive can be used like Jason says. OR, the other way we've seen success with it, is on the gray pad, ran at a lower setting, like on 2-3. But originally, it was designed to be used by hand.
  17. Dig it....DIG IT....DIG IT!!! Such a better way to do this. HUGE fan!!!
  18. This client contacted me as an AVID Corvette fanatic. This is the 37th Vette he's owned!! Title of this thread denotes the year, model, & miles. Needless to say it was a CHALLENGE. Primarily in the paint finish. Honestly, the interior & engine bay were in pretty good condition! It's obvious the previous owner had intentions on keeping this gem clean, but simply had NO CLUE as to how to care for the paint finish. Heavily swirled & marred, I knew I had some hours ahead of me, in paint correction!! Overall, the car looked "dirty gray" (even after being washed) and not even a shimmer of gloss left in it. Here was my plan of attack: Adam's Boar's Hair Brush & Car Wash Shampoo on the engine bay (no APC needed) Blow dry with Metro Sidekick blaster Adam's All Purpose Cleaner & Fender Brush on tires & undercarriage Adam's Turbo Stick & All Purpose Cleaner on wheels 2-bucket wash with Adam's Car Wash Shampoo & an added 2oz. of Adam's APC (to strip old wax, etc. - without this, the Adam's Car Wash Shampoo is PH neutral) along with 2 Jumbo Wash Pads Rinse car & Adam's Clay Bar with Detail Spray entire vehicle Condition engine bay & all plastics with Adam's SVRT & block sponge Tires dressed with Adam's SVRT Wheel wells dressed with Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray Polishing consisted of the following: New "prototype" Adam's heavy compound polish New "prototype" Adam's microfiber cutting pads Flex PE14-2 Rotary Flex 3401 Polisher 4" Drill Kit for the lower doors & scoops New "prototype" Adam's fine machine polish & Adam's White Pad Top off with Adam's Brilliant Glaze & Americana Paste Wax, both applied with a Red Hex Grip Applicator All polishes & waxes removed with Adam's Single Soft & Double Soft towels UPON ARRIVAL DURING DURING UPON INSPECTION AFTER WASH DURING POLISHING DEBADGED REAR DECKLID TAIL BEFORE TAIL AFTER (deeper scratches, too deep to repair) ENGINE BAY COMPLETE (sorry, no "before" shots) FINISHED CAR Why do I aaaaaaalways forget to take interior pics???!!!?!?!!! Aaaaarrgghh!!! Well, anyway, here's what I used...... Adam's Leather/Interior Cleaner & Interior Brush on seats Adam's Leather Conditioner & block sponge on all interior leather & plastics Adam's Detail Spray & Single Soft towel on glass (was pretty clean upon arrival) Adam's Quick Sealant on windshield (out of Glass Sealant) Thanks for looking!! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!
  19. Thanks for the kudos buddy!!! :)

  20. This was a unique detail. The client contacted me & had a SPECIFIC budget $$$. However, he thought his paint was in much better condition than he realized. Lol. You know the guy: "Oh man, it's in good shape. I wax it every month." Always cracks me up when people think that a coat of wax "fixes" all their problems. NEEDLESS to say, this thing was HAMMERED. Had never seen a proper wash or polisher in 10 years of existence. So after my initial wipedown, I contacted the client, and we decided the ENTIRE budget would go towards paint correction, and no $$$ spent on interior or engine bay or wheels & tires. On top of that, the weather wasn't cooperating. Night time drop off, night time work, & night time pickup. So, unfortunately there are no daytime or sunlight pics (due to rain), only under crucial light in my garage. Upon this realization, here was the process: Adam's Waterless Wash & Waterless Wash towels 2 passes of Adam's clay bar & detail spray with a single soft towel Flex 3401 polisher 4 passes of Severe Swirl Remover & Green Pad 1 pass of Swirl & Haze Remover with an Orange Pad 1 pass of Fine Machine Polish & White Pad Isopropyl Alcohol wipedown Adam's Quick Sealant with hex grip applicator Topped off with Americana Paste Wax & hex grip applicator All polish & protection removal done with Adam's double soft towels All plastic trim treated with Adam's SVRT & block sponge applicator This thing was NEGLECTED!! On with the pics! When I say it was neglected, I wasn't kidding! Some 50/50 shots during correction. The client and I agreed that 100% perfect was out of his budget, so we decided to shoot for about the 80% correct mark. And I feel we achieved that. The plastic trim on this baby was oxidized & faded, BAD. After a good cleaning, I revitalized the trim with Adam's SVRT. And here's some "finished" shots. Again, I apologize for not being able to snag some daylight shots. But these halogens are pretty revealing. Again, I apologize for the lack of sunlight pictures for this particular writeup, it was a busy/weird time frame for me. Hope you enjoyed, and as always, if you have any questions, just ask!! Thanks!
  21. Lol. Preciate ya boys!! NO TIME for MSS, lol.... Let me clear up some moderate confusion: I left my career of 15+ years to start my dream, I own & run my own personal high-end polishing, paint correction, detailing business. On the side, I will be doing product testing, running forums, and write-ups for Adam's. Who knows what the future holds. But for now, this is the arrangement. I have a HUGE vision, and a HUGE motivation. We will see where this all leads!!
