Do not use waterless wash on a finish loaded with pollen.
    Your just asking for trouble.
It's like moving grit around on your car.
Give it a good wash and you'll be fine.

I know how bad it sucks because pollen here is crazy.

WW works great but it's not a job for pollen.

yea i was about to say.  i have 3 of them all of which are 2-3 years old and used frequently.  i wash mine in the machine on a short/cold setting with a little woolite and hang dry.  still works like they were brand new.

in a way it rejuvenates the towel by breaking down the polishes, soaps etc. in the towel.  add a cap full of distilled white vinegar for an extra punch.  i just had 2 brand new green glass towels that were linting like crazy.  washed them 4 times each doing something different (one used with woolite, the other with the microfiber rejuvenater etc.)  decided to boil them in a pot yesterday for about 5-8 minutes and left them to hang dry.  used them today and no more linting.

JHL88 reacted to Holder in A Patriotic Cyber Grey ZR1
Wow, what a weekend. Lot's of great cars I was lucky enough to work on. What made it even better was knowing that this ZR1 was coming up. It's a 2010 with about 6500 miles on it. It has driven down, ran the Texas Mile where it went 183 MPH and drove back. Also has been on a few road trips. I was expecting way worse than what I found when i showed up to detail this car. I couldn't find a single rock hip or a swirl. It has only been waxed once, but i think most of the wax ended up on the edges of the clear bras and all the plastics. The owner wanted it prepped for a show that was coming up.

The owner didn't ask for it but I figured since it was Memorial Day I would bring the Patriot Wax out. I gave this beast a coat of Brilliant Glaze and 2 coats Patriot Wax.

    Enjoy!

There's always been polls about favorite waxes, polishes, towels etc.  i figured it would be fun to ask what everyone's favorite Cleaner is?  By cleaner i mean APC, DWC, GC, GWC, LIC, MR&B, C&UC or even WW for kicks.

You can ONLY choose your Top 2 choices. (This was hard for me b/c they're all great IMO)

For me, if i had to choose it would be glass cleaner with or without the glass towels. it always gets the job done.  Next would probably be LIC because it has got pretty much everything clean that ive put it on.  i would've said DWC but i haven't experimented with it enough and only used it once but it worked very well.

Got together with some of the guys over the weekend for some photos taken by my girlfriend AKA DJL Photography. First stop, secret locations within the Kings Park Pysch Center! Took the McLaren off road to get to some of these spots.

After that, we met up with a few more friends before cruising down to Elite Motorsports in Farmingdale. Once we arrived, Kai (owner of Elite) pulled everyone inside for some AC and beers! Gotta love it:thumb:

JHL88 got a reaction from needham in having trouble on my new truck, need help!
my experience with dodge clearcoat is easy to work with not as hard as GM and not as soft as Hyundai.  With that being said my wifes 2012 dodge caravan (black) had some swirl marks on the hood that were visible with the brinkman.  i used SHR on orange pad primed the pad with an "X"  and one half shot of detail spray.  After that i used 3-4 sized pea drops.  2-3 passes on speed 5 removed 99% of imperfections if not 100% followed by FMP white pad speed 5 and same thing as above.  hood was perfect.  i wouldn't recommend using a black/red pad with FMP because i don't see it helping any with mopar's clear.  maybe if it was something from japan...
