  1. I did my wiper cowl today. I have a 2010 Scion TC and opted to remove the wiper cowl (took all of 6 mins). This thing was completely ash grey and I apologize for not getting a before picture. I was ready to order one from the parts store because it looked so bad. So I began by washing the cowl at the outside spigot with soap and water and let dry completely. Took it inside to the bathtub and hit with Adams All Purpose Cleaner and Adams Short Wheel Brush. Let it dry completely. Then applied two applications with Adams Tire and Rubber Cleaner and was not seeing any oxidation after the second application. Let it dry. Then applied the Adams Coating Prep and it dried almost instantly. I then applied one coat of the Adams Black Trim Restorer and evened it out. This pic was taken 6 1/2 hours afterwards. It looks brand spanking new. Only 41 more hours and I will re-install the cowl back on the car. Awesome product Dylan and the entire Adams Crew.

  4. Just purchased my new 2017 Challenger SXT (color is Contusion Blue Pearl Coat a new name for Blue Jazz) from the dealership late last Friday (did not purchase the optional dealer installed swirl marks) and spent 1/2 day on Sat and Sun claying, finishing polish, and LPS and today a quick application of H2O G&G. 30 minutes after I finished it rained. And it beaded beautifully, as always. Its crazy how most of the beads rolled off as this pic was taken less than 1 minute after the rain stopped. Picture of dry car to come later in a separate topic.
  5. It was just to pretty to pass up.
  6. Old and maybe a repost, but funny. Also it apparently was "staged"

  8. I agree with Revive being severely underrated. Two weeks ago, my DD finally quit beading after 9 months of 2 coats of Adams Machine Super Sealant. I simply did an IPA, washed, dried, and since there were no swirl marks, I clayed, wiped down and then used the PC with Revive. Wiped down, re-sealed, waited for the cure X2 and then Brilliant Glaze and then Ameriana and it still looks brand spanking new. I'm ready for another 9 months or better. If anyone is not using Revive, I highly recommend you start using it. It works even better between sealant applications to bring back that shine without the possibility of a 3 step polish if you have been washing correctly.
  9. Nice work, nice car, and congrats on the new job. Well Done! The 71's are my first choice, the 68 is my second.

  13. Found the paperwork and changed out the filter. Kept the old one and just washed it off with warm soapy water and let it dry. Emptied the bag and then turned it inside out and shook the heck out of it and then used my sidekick to blow it out and it's now clean as clean can get. Reassembled everything and works great. Tossed a pinch of baby powder down inside so now it smells good (never smelled bad in the first place) but I figured why not.
  14. Can't find my paperwork for the Jumbo Vac N' Blo that explains proper cleaning when needed. Cleaning the filter is pretty straight-foward and simple, but does one just empty the bag and replace it or does it need to be hosed down and allowed to dry?...it's pretty dusty. Thanks.
  15. Hope this is not a double post, but check this out!

Guilty as charged, but for the not so terribly dirty stuff, I use the utility towels, then break out the good stuff.
