  3. This past Tuesday morning, I posted in the Garage Sale forum, the majority of my Adams products (the list was quite large) as I'm just getting a little to old to continue the side business of detailing autos. I am not by any means saying goodbye as I still have my own personal supply/stock of Adams products, but going forward, everything will be done by hand and I will not be detailing others' automobiles. As of 7:00 pm today, all but 2 of those items have been sold to either members on this forum or elsewhere. I am just totally blown away at the very short time it took to sale all of the items. Thanks to all of you on this forum who purchased the items from me. The Adams brand really did the work because I honestly believe the brand name Adams sells itself. A very warm and sincere "Well Done" to the entire team at Adams for establishing such an outstanding name and an outstanding reputation for themselves and for delivering the absolute finest in car care detailing products! Dave
  4. It is the dual 4HP unit and it was purchased from Adams (but drop-shipped) directly from Metrovac Co. However, Adams' policy is that once a unit purchased from them is sold, the warranty is not transferrable (that is posted in red lettering in my post above). It is a very well built blower and I'm positive it will give years of nothing less than solid performance. I'm also positive that other Adams' forum members that own this same unit will back its performance/durability as well. Thanks, Dave
  5. Price reduced on AF Master Blaster to $275.00 shipped anywhere in the 48 continguous US states. Thanks again to all. Cheers, Dave

Added some wall art to my "Adams Wall". Thinking I'm gonna put some fresh paint there pretty soon as well.
  9. Or maybe it was a contest on a different forum. I remember this one....
  10. Dylan, I think it was one of the pics submitted for the last photo contest that resulted in the unfortunate discontinuance of that type of contest and that thread was closed if I remember correctly.
  11. Looks even sweeter with the Vette parked under banner.
  12. I'd love to have one made of my current car on the forum. Any chance you can divulge how you went about getting that made?
  13. I refuse to pay the cost of veternarian heart worm meds or all others for that fact. I've been using a product called "durvet" Ivermectin Paste 1.87% Apple Flavor for 2 years and my dog is "worm-free". This stuff comes in a plastic syrnge and you squeeze a small amount on your finger tip and put it on the dog's roof of the mouth. It costs less than 5 dollars a box and lasts a year or better. This is made for horses... of course they would use half the syrnge, but works fine with dogs. A neighbor who breeds dogs has been using it for more than 10 years and has never had issues with worms at all. I was very skeptical at first, but it actully works.
  14. Thanks for all the good info. Matt...I wouldn't have thought to clay it. Anyways, I stripped, clayed and then wiped down real good. Dry fit and masked the outside edges with Adams new tape so I would know where to put the adhesive promoter. Wife helped me out and it's on there good and I highly doubt it will ever come off. Here's some pics. Thanks everyone!
  15. Got my new Five Axis spoiler today for my FR-S with no instructions. The spoiler only adheres to the rear deck-lid with two sided tape (pre-installed)and an adhesive promoter. Should I strip the Americana wax and 2 applications of MSS from the area I applied less than two weeks ago so the tape sticks to the paint only or just waterless wash the area and go for it? Thanks
  16. Just WOW!. I would hate to be the family he goes home to. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0YKeegXlsM]Don't pack your trash cans to tight! - YouTube[/ame]
  17. Hope you get a quick resolution. I'm no HVAC person, but either before you get it warrantied, replaced, etc., you should have an electrician install a "whole house" surge protector, or if you're able, install it yourself. Not very expensive at all and well worth the piece of mind.
  18. Thanks Mook. That's what I'm going to do next time around. Seems much easier than masking off the rubber or vice versa dependent upon which of the two is being treated.
  19. Do you mask the tire rubber prior to spraying the sealant on the wheels. I ask, because I did not, and I couldn't get SVRT to adhere to the rubber until I cleaned/scrubbed the sealant off the rubber. What a pain that was and a lesson well learned. I wish someone would invent an adjustable "wheel cover" for this purpose alone.
  20. That was sweet, thanks! Oh, and also thanks for not revoking my "Man Card"
  21. For some dog-gone reason I can't get the Carpenter's "Close to You" song out of my head today. Oldie, but most definitely a beautiful song. Hope my man card doesn't get revoked! ***Here you go- [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6inwzOooXRU]Carpenters Close To You - YouTube[/ame]
  22. Metallica's Sandman.....playing in my head.
