  1. These new body Silverados are the only trucks where I like the moldings left on. All the badges can go though.
  2. If you don't have an eraser wheel, WD40 works wonders.
  3. The problem with a lot of people out west here in the dry *** desert that purchase 4 wheel drive trucks, is that they NEVER use the 4x4. The transfer case seals end up getting crusty, parts break, etc.
  4. I'd just unbolt the rear bumper and get it powder coated. Shouldn't run more then $150-200
  5. Actually, we need to write Hyundai and let them know. Since they seem to swipe a lot of ideas from them.
  6. I guess a unibody truck with a plastic looking kit hanging on the back makes it "luxurious"

  9. I love those new body Silverados. I'm in the same boat as Dylan. I can 100% guarantee you that the next truck I purchase, absolutely will not be Black, and will not have leather interior. I don't care how good of a deal it is.

Living in Vegas, you'd be surprised driving around with really dark tint, it's actually no big deal when you're inside the vehicle. Same thing at night here, it's so damn bright with all the street lights, etc. that it's not an issue for driving. Now....living in the country side where it's pitch black outside at night time, then I could totally see it being an issue.
  12. You can get some badass houses here in Vegas right now for dirt cheap. Buddy of mine just bought beautiful house in McDonald Ranch for ~$230,000. The house sold for ~800k a few years back.

Here in Vegas cops are super lenient about tint. What you're looking at there is 3% all the way around, and 35% on the front windshield. I ran 13% on the front windshield of my 95 GMC, direct sunlight, you couldn't see in that truck haha.

  15. Here's mine. Been here 9 years now. 1500sf, 3 bedroom, 2 bath. 600sf garage. We paid 160k for it in 2003. Currently got a 20 year loan, and should be paid off within ~8 years or so..... And then the back yard. It was completely dirt when we moved in....
  16. I'd rather see a national sales tax, over a flat tax. That way, the pimps, drug dealers, prostitutes, tattoo artists, etc. start paying into the system also. Plus a national sales tax would promote savings from a large majority of people. Something this country badly needs.
  17. I've used a paintless dent repair company multiple times in town here. It was amazing what dings they were able to remove. Normally they charge $75.00 per panel. And then remove anything on that panel.
  18. Cool thanks guys, that pretty much answers my questions. I'm going to skip that step for now.
  19. Wel-Bilt platform on Amazon for $21.99 Can't beat that. Looks like the exact same thing. 20. Hey guys. Just a couple questions regarding Revive on the PC. I own a black Tahoe, and I'm also going to be doing a full correction on my friends black Silverado in the coming week. I'm still kind of unclear about how Revive works and the benefits of this product. I've read a couple things here on forums about people using Revive strictly on black vehicles, for a follow up to Fine Machine Polish. I do have some Black/Red glazing pads. Is this what everyone uses on a PC? Do you move the same speed when applying Revive? I figured not, since it has no cutting properties. How about product usage? Same general rule applies like all other polishes? People here that have used Revive, is it something you recommend and a must have step on a black vehicle? Thanks for any input
  21. Pool rinsing works awesome when done over corrected and regularly waxed paint. I've got terrible hard water at my place. After doing research and reading/watching Adam's forums and videos, I've managed to keep hard water spotting down to a minimum. Not rinsing any soap while washing helps a ton. Pool rinsing and thenusing detail spray immediately after helps a ton also.
  22. 1973 Volkswagen Bug 1641cc engine, dual 40mm Webers, Engle 120 Cam, 7:1 compression, Gene Berg linkage and short shifter. Yeah....that car was fun as hell to drive. The low end torque off the line was something else. I'd totally buy that car back if I could.
  23. I've recently switched over to Adam's because of micro marring issues with Poorboys polish.
