  1. With this product, I found a good use for my wife collection of paper bags from the store!
  2. Visited Valley Forge for the first time. Ironically, while sitting in front of General Washington house I was more interested in the sweet 13' GT500 passing by. I guess I love the stang's! I here Ford will be building the GT350's in 15'. If they do an n/a 5.8 I'm in!
  3. Who will stop the douchebaggery...a petition? Good premise but its all for nothing. I enjoy coming on here and getting ideas to improve on my "somewhat crappy" detailing skills. Seeing political stuff just ruins it for me. I need to invent a political pop up/spam blocker. Any site that has posting are blocked out. Good luck!
  4. Oh boy here we go! Politics has now migrated to every site I've been on. Good thing Congress votes for their own things. Good luck with this!
  5. Ok that makes sense. I've been wondering why if I needed to use my wipers it would haze up. Now I know!
  6. If you think this wasn't harsh enough of a punishment move to Virginia. Last year in Va beach we had a school crossing guard get ran over and killed. The woman claimed she was blinded by the sun and didn't see her. Problem was it was nothing but overcast that morning. She got a $250 fine and let go. Running light and killing people are cool here! They enforce window tint laws more than anything! Crossing guard's family ready to settle | WAVY.com | Virginia Beach, Va.
  7. And it didn't take long for this statement to come out!
  8. No, no we should all jump to conclusions based off of what the media tells us!
  9. It is easier if you can get it on jacks and take off the front wheels. There is only a few screws to remove the front bumper. Race ramps are the only ones i know of that you can get these Stangs on. I'm lowered 1.5" and i can barely get a low profile jack under my car.
  10. I guess i am doing what i love. It's going on 16 years that i've been in the Military. I knew at the tender age of six when "Top Gun" came out and my mother bought me a F-14 remote control plane for Christmas. Man, i just knew i was going to be a pilot. But, somehow i ended up being a Mineman in the Navy. I do not regret it as i've made it farther along in my career than i thought making it to Chief (E-7). Hopefully by next summer i'll put a star on top of my Anchor! In the next few years when i grow up and retire i'll go on to my next love.....Working in the railroad industry. Or tagging along with a buddy of mine flying rov's for some oil company.
  11. Yep i had to cancel this. No dealer would go under 53k for the vehicle and i wasn't willing to pay it. I guess that is what happens when there isn't many TDI's in the country. Whelp i'm back to my original idea that my wife absolutely hates. I'm going to slap a kenne Bell supercharger on the 5.0 next month and buy a beater once in Cali!
  12. Alright test drove a '13 TDI. That 400 ft-lbs and awd could take my 5.0....off the line. But, they also had a '12 Jetta TDI that looked pretty cool.
  13. Alright now that we are in the process of moving soon my wife has convinced me to look at a VW. I'm about to go test drive a '13 Treg. Are there any forum members who has one and how do you like it? I'm looking into a TDI.
  14. I'll be visiting your shop a good bit for parts next summer!
  15. Thanks for the reply! I would like an enclosed carrier. I already have one too many rock chips...lol
  16. Yes i just got a quote back...$2230. I'll probably go with them being that they said they could take 2-4 weeks for delivery. The other was in 6-8 days. We want to make this drive into a vacation so Reliable seems like a good fit.
  17. I received a reply from them for $2200 and a 6-7 day turnaround. I'll get a couple more quotes and go from there. Thanks for the recommendation!
  18. Thanks i'll request a qoute from them now.
  19. I thought so also. Until i got an email today saying "meet the ship in San Diego".
  20. Alright, i have orders to sunny California. There are two cars in the household and the Mustang isn't going to be the one taking that trip. Harsh ride and the cost of fuel stopping every 300-400 miles isn't going to cut it. We have a TDI that will get us there. I'm wondering if anyone has a trust worthy company that they have used to transport a vehicle across country? How was the experience?
  21. There is not really a safe zone in the gulf per se. I'll be on board a Minesweeper (not the game...lol) insuring the sea lanes stay safe! Thank you also.
  22. Thank you! And trust me we all appreciate the people of this country!
  23. Arrived at work ready to go train. Ended it with a work email stating "You are heading back to the Middle East for three years....no questions asked".
