The van we get to use while here as a 18 gallon tank. We use about three dinar to fill it up. The currency rate right now is about $2.65 for every one Dinar. That (I think...lol) adds up to around $0.44 a gallon...sheesh!

You should see the rag they use! Even if I had the option of having a car here as hot as it is I would rather walk. Btw tomorrow it's forecasted to be around 115 w/ 100% humidity! I'll be in sunny San Diego soon enough.

So I'm finishing up my deployment to Bahrain. Everywhere you look there are these "you want your car washed...boss" guys wanting to so called wash your car. Bentley, Maserati...it doesn't matter. As you can see from the attached pic I cringe when I see them washing any type of car! The soap of choice......dish washing soap. These folks really could care less. I guess that's why we pay that healthy premium for fuel in the U.S.! Btw fuel here is less than a dollar a gallon.

I love that the "pony wars" are back! Yeah, these car's now is a complete driver's race. BTW, has Dodge gone into hiding?

Forgive me for not posting the final pictures. But, we of course made it to San Diego. Unfortunatly living the life of a Military member duty called shortly after arriving. So, here i am sitting in the Middle East....again! Once i finish up my current duties here i'll post up the last pics of our drive across country.
