  1. Easy, I would be really pisses to if this happen to my car too, not saying that Adams is perfect but it looks more like an honest mishap and maybe some equipment issues. If I were you i would just have a body shop touch the spot up with some base, spot some clear in and wetsand it a few times between clear coats. I wouldn't repaint the entire bumper cover especially since that is on an orange metallic. Impossible to match.
  2. I would totally agree on an aluminum or steel surface, but on plastic and on that edge I somewhat disagree. It looks like by the way the pad deteriorated he had it on edge a bit which is not good. I wouldn't say the paint was defective but it sure seems like it on the front end of these new cars, like mine the paint falls of like nothing.
  3. Can't believe I didn't notice right away that was a focus pad, you have to take it easy with the focus pads for sure. They are not as thick as the standard pads, and when they start to deteriorate they get thin like that. I bet the vibration of the pc and the rubber backing plate ripped her up a bit. That sucks, good luck.
  4. I have had some break also, I think they break easier than cheap spray bottle because the bottles are very rigid. Unlike the cheap bottles they don't give resulting in the sprayer taking the hit when it falls. The ones I use at work I can drop off the top of a scissor lift because the bottle is like a thick ballon, I dropped one off the lift and it ended up bouncing like a basketball. If I did the same with Adams I could bet it would crack or break the sprayer, but I like how firm their bottles are so I just try to be careful.
  5. Its not all its cracked up to be most of the time, I am really tired of spending money on it. But once you start you can't quit midway. Sure its fun but I have the luxury of free labor on everything anytime it breaks. I don't know if I would have ever started this without that benefit. It does feel good though when it really sets you back.
  6. I rarely here anything bad about the 05's plus the 01's don't come in 20s so I am limited.
  7. This is the truth, I know how long ups and fedex people work it, it must be tough but on some packages I track those packages every hour until there delivered. I love seeing the ups guy, to bad by the time I get to the door there usually gone. Honestly the fedex and ups drivers are the most exciting people I see.
  8. Thats what I am hoping for, put it won't go unless I can get it to the ground, hence why I am getting new wheels and tires. I plan on getting nt05's on the front and a 315 nt05r on the back. I am pretty excited to see how those can grab.
  9. I see, I am not getting to carried away. I am going for 650 whp. Some run the ls3 up to 850whp on nothing except for a centrifugal and meth. I went turbo as I love the noise but the turbine kind of limits me. To much back pressure. 750 crank horsepower will seem fast for hopefully a week at least. I think I will throw in the towel then. Need to save for a diesel truck.
  10. Sick, I thought you were still running stock heads and internals.
  11. Damn, I would be surprised to see that much of a gain. I could see it if the dads were ported too. Non the less you won't loose power!
  12. Those cobalts are no joke, at least yours. Are you numbers in your sig picture whp or crank?
  13. No. It's just a car to drive around town. I have a lot more power than stock so I needed a lot of rear end bushings and arms etc so I decided to do it all at once. I want it to go fast straight but figured I should probably do it all so it can handle too. Still have to spend way to much before spring comes.

  15. Damn, waiting on the 27'' too. I will be pissed if I can't get it this year.
  16. Yea, two or three of my microfiber bottles have cracked just sitting in the cabinet. The replacement that is sitting there is starting to crack again. They have sent me multiple replacements of this. I also had it happen to leather cleaner once I believe but not certain. All the others are fine.
  17. I just wonder if he will remember that hand shake when you find that new house, then you will be able to tell what the guy is really all about.
  18. Yea, they look so nice until you pull it outside. I couldn't imagine on a dirt road, no joke that thing would need to be washed every single drive but go for it, I won't tell you what to buy just be prepared I guess and don't let the dealer wash it if your ordering.
  19. Honestly I wouldn't buy black as its unreal how hard they are to keep clean. I just waxed a black car in a clean garage with no drafts or fans on. By the time I got to the end the front of the car where I wiped the wax off of first was already dusty. It pisses me off for sure but if your not that fussy which I doubt as your on this forum then black would be alright.
  20. Overlays are way easier but I have always wondered if they get right up to the edge of the gold, obviously all of us here want stuff like that perfect. Dylan probably has so many callus's on his hands from being overworked he would just scratch the whole emblem.
  21. Here is a picture of an extra emblem I had, as you can see the middle two vertical taps have to be pressed opposite directions and the outside two horizontal taps have to be pressed down. I haven't seen what model you have but if you have a the zl1 you won't be sticking your hands through the grill. You can take the hood latch out and reach through there, just make sure that you mark the bolts so the hood lines up flush or take the radiator shroud piece off and then just push on the taps. Make Dylan do it he's probably just sitting in his office. Overlays like Chris posted work well too.
  22. It was pretty easy.My dad is a painter so we painted it with ppg paint. All I did was reach though the grill and feel around for the clips while I pulled out on the emblem with my other hand. It was kind of hard on the hands but I only had to do it once obviously. If you got a zl1 I would assume they are the same but not certain.
