  1. Black? Never again for me. Been stuck in a grey rut lately; next car might be red. I miss my old Laser Red Audi A4 that just gleamed like a piece of candy when it was all polished up.
  2. I just have to shake my head... so sad, so senseless. My heart goes out to all those families and friends who are grieving.
  3. Welcome! We had family in Lincoln so growing up in Pennsylvania I was always the kid wearing Cornhusker t-****s. Even went as a Cornhusker football player for halloween one year. Go Big Red.
  4. How often do these take place? I'd absolutely be up for meeting you there sometime. Rich
  5. Yea, I think I'll be using that stuff with every other wash now. Sadly my driveway is an unhospitalbe place to park a car... it's covered by the canopy of a 150 year old oak tree that (hopefully) isn't going anywhere. So lots of tree stuff and bird offerings are part of my daily struggle.
  6. So I've been away for a while (long story), and today –– for the first time in about a year –– I gave my truck a good detailing. Used H2O guard and gloss for the first time. So here's my question: Has Adam been nominated for a Nobel prize in Chemistry? Because I mean wow -- that stuff is amazing!
  7. Of course. All things considered, there's not a better place in the world.
  8. Not really a detailing meme, but I'm sure you all can relate....
  9. Turns out it's a 1915 or 1916 Winton 22. The 15 (top) has the right front bumper; the 16 (below) has the right compartments above the running boards.
  10. Thanks, I'll check that out.
  11. Hi Rich - Tyler is the name of my neighbors, so that's a red-herring -- it's just the file name. Although, wouldn't that be ironic if it was a family company? I may need to google that. Hmm...
  12. Hmm... very close for sure. Thanks! Your suggestion of a Mitchell let me to finding this, a 1916 Davis tourer. GW Davis Motor Car Co. operated out of Richmond, IN and Baltimore, MD, so geographically it could make sense. There seem to be some differences in the compartments under the doors, and the car In my pic seems to have more of a number on the front, but those could of course have been optional bits.
  13. Hi All -- Trying to answer this question for a neighbor of mine... we're trying to figure out what kind of car this is. The photo was taken in 1916 or 17, most likely in West Virginia. Any ideas?

    Sad news...

So sad.. my sympathies. It's always so gut-wrenching to lose a pet.
  15. Congrats! Sweet garage/shop you have there. Enjoy homeownership!
  16. On most sports cars and sedans I'd say white in, but honestly I think the white out looks good on a lot of truck tires, including yours. I think I'd go white out.

OH this is so cool. Great build. And I love the XLR.
  18. It's just the difference between good character and bad character. Good pays dividends in the long run. Bad just makes for an unhappy, angry life. People reap what they sow.
  19. Love it! I've always had a soft spot for those 944s.
