  1. Not taking anything away from Adam's products. They're all GREAT. Try this: http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-474-adams-all-new-kreepstool.aspx
  2. Here you go. http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-382-adams-bucket-wgrit-guard-lid.aspx
  3. You need to give them "hints." Leave their things on the porch. Change all the locks. Empty the refrigerator. Turn the phone, gas and electric off, and go on a 30 day cruise. That should do it.
  4. Dylan, you live in So. Calif. You can always do what I do. Go up to Big Bear, and VISIT the snow for a few hours. Then when you get tired of it, drive back down to the valley where it 75-80.
  5. Now I remember why in live in the southern Calif. desert from Oct. to April each year.:lol:
  6. Welcome. You're going to like it here.
  7. I'd have just shot him. I figure at my age, even if I'm convicted of anything, I'm more likely to die of old age, than a lethal injection from the state.
  8. I did the same thing the first time I used my PC. I noticed the pad starting to wobble. So I stopped. Was going to post here asking the same question. Saw the Junkman video and installed the washer. No problems since.
  9. Looks interesting. I've got a 1.5"-2" diameter dent in the lower rear panel of my truck bed, near the bumper. I was thinking I would use some sort of suction device to try to pop it out. Might give this a try. The truck us 12 years old DD. So no big deal if I mess something up. It will have to wait until next spring though. I'm heading west for the winter soon.
  10. Trust me, 99.9% of flying is boring. The key words in your statement are "LOOKS LIKE" fun.

    Joke Thread

Older Women Are So Reasonable After being married for 41 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, "41 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV. But I got to sleep every night with a hot 23 year old girl." Now I have a $1,000,000.00 home, a $45,000.00 car, a nice big bed and a LCD High Defintion TV. But I'm sleeping with a 64year old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things." My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23 year old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV. Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve your mid-life crises.
  12. My never ending work in progress. Only took me 5 years to get to this point.
  13. You don't do something like this as an investment Adam. You're building memories. This is something you're doing for/with your dad, and maybe someday, you can give the keys to your son. I'm doing the same thing with my truck for my grandson. But I get to drive it until he gets his license. He'll be 4 in Feb. I jokingly tell my friends, if I live long enough my grandson is going to inherit a $250K Ford Ranger when he's 16. I got him his first truck for Christmas last year to get him use to driving trucks. Come on dad. Let's go pick up some chicks.
  14. Thanks for that tip Jman. I'm your average "computer challenged" senior. I purchased my first laptop, for road trips, 6 months ago. Got a Mac-Book from Mac-Mall for $900 and it has everything I need and more. I have kept it "plugged in" 24/7 here in the TN house. (I have an iMac at home in Calif. Got it at COSTCO 4 years ago for $1100) I never turn my computers off, just put them in the "sleep" mode. (Is that a mistake?) I rarely use the laptop where an outlet is not available. I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. It's getting embarrassing having to ask my grandchildren, especially the 12 y.o. how to do things or fix something I've messed up. If you're wondering way a MAC, when I know so little about computers? My dad got me started on them 20+ years ago and except at work they're all I've ever used. My biggest problem is finding someplace to teach me how to use a MAC. I wish I had paid more attention when dad was trying to teach me.
  15. I sort of like TANK. I call mine WHITE LIGHT-NIN. Think about it.
  16. Teresa. My daughter told me the same thing many times. My answer was always the same. "I have to get old. I DON'T have to grow up." She finally gave up and got me this Tshirt for my birthday 11 years ago. Still true today.
  17. Just curious AJ. What are those 6 holes just above the lock? Looks like someone took a drill and 1/8" drill bit to the lid.
  18. A.J. You do understand that we Italians have a debonair reputation to uphold. And that your clothes should show what a suave man you are. Therefor it is in my nature to be charming, sophisticated, debonair, urbane, polished, refined, poised, dignified, civilized, gentlemanly, gallant; smooth, polite, well-mannered, civil, courteous, affable, tactful. That's why I drive a P/U truck and say things like, "Ya'll come back now, yaear."
  19. Me about 65-66 years ago. I think this photo SCREAMS my Italian heritage. I was a ring barer for my uncles wedding. Me today. The hairs a bit thinner and I've put on a few pounds. Inside. I'm still the same lovable kid I was 65 years ago Me and my youngest grandson and namesake. He was 9-10 mo in this photo. Note the matching hairdos. He'll be 4, Feb 2010 if my daughter let's him. She tells me she now understands why some animals "eat their young." Ready for the "Lollypop-500" Making sure he's a Ford truck man. Note the Adam's shine on the hood. "No dad, the radio is not to loud. You're to old."
  20. Was in Sturgis for the rally last year. Believe they said they had over 700 there. Have some great photos. But unfortunately they're in my home computer in Claif. I had a really good time Everyone was very friendly. Even at the drag strip, guys seemed to be helping the guys they had to race again. Don't forget to see the "Crazy Horse" monument while you're there if you can. It's worth the trip.
  21. I'm a bit late with this, but grandchild #7 is on the way. (I just noticed the tread) Due about Thanksgiving. Hope it's another boy. So far it's 3/3 and the girls are all older. So we guys need the numbers.
  22. Congratulations John. I started riding when I was 17. After 50+ years and prob 600-700K miles and 42 of the 48 states, I had to hang up my helmet 2-3 years ago. Just didn't have the reflexes in a cross wind any more. Maybe some day I'll get a trike. If you're still riding 2 years from now, you'll be hooked for life. My dad always thought I was crazy and had some sort of a death wish. I took him for his first ride on my then new 1500cc GoldWing on his 76th birthday. Two years later we did an 18 state, 6500 mile road trip. He loved it. After that we never passed up at chance to go for a long ride. Dad's gone now, but I still have the photos and memories of that trip. One thing. Regular jeans will not protect you in a "get off." I only put my bike down twice in all those years. Glad I had my "lined" jeans on. If you talk to any older riders, they'll all tell you there are only 2 kind of bikers. Those that have laid their bikes down and those that are going to. If I was going on a local trip, I'd ware my lined jeans. I had a Joe Rocket Suit for cross country tours. Another bit of advice. You might want to subscribe to a magazine called "Motorcycle Consumer News." (Think that was the name. Check with some local touring riders. Most of them get it.) They're a "Consumer Reports" for motorcyclists. They did a lot of really good stuff when I was getting it. Good luck and be safe.
  23. Welcome Josh. Where in Tenn.?
  24. Thanks for the fast reply Bill. Now I'm about to show my ignorance. What is IPA? Is it an Adam's product? As I said I'm still new and learning. So I don't know all the abbreviations yet.
  25. I know this is a no, no. I was on another forum where a young man asked about the proper way to wash/wax his truck. This is a DD that I got the impression was regularly taken offroading. Several people told him to clay the truck before waxing. Then a few others suggested he wash the truck with "dish soap" to remove the old wax before claying. I'm still new to all this and learning. So my question is. Good idea? Bad idea? Doesn't matter. WHY?
