  1. Ok, I threw another round of Tire Shine on my car, with no microfiber wiping, and this is what it looked like immediately after. Also did the wife's car, I'll post pics of hers and another of mine tomorrow evening.
  2. Ok, the tires on the wife's car are still naked, I'll try applying it to them with no wiping and report back.
  3. Having an issue With Tire Shine. Here's my process... 1. Spray with APC and scrub with a good stuff brush 2. Rinse 3. Wash/rinse again with car shampoo at the end of the car wash 4. Apply Tire Shine with the hex applicator 5. Once all 4 are done I move the car a bit so I can hit the bottom spot that was against the pavement 6. Wait a few minutes then wipe them with a microfiber to even out the finish When I'm done with that, they look wonderful. Rich and black and shiny but not too shiny. This is what they look like 24h later.... As you can see, there's no Tire Shine left on the flat parts of the sidewall, just inside and around the lettering. There's no evidence on the car of it slinging off. Any suggestions?
  4. White out for sure. Unfortunately that truck is long gone
  5. 19x9.5 SVE Drifts in dark stainless with Ford center caps & 275/40r19 Cooper RS3-As.
  6. I've had great results using Tire Shine with the pro-tire hex-grip applicator. Starting with dry tires that have been scrubbed with a stiff brush and Adam's APC, I "prime" the applicator with 3 or 4 sprays of Tire Shine and do the first tire. For each following tire I add 1 more spray of Tire Shine to the applicator. Once all 4 are finished I move the car so the bottom of the tire is now at the top, then go back to the 1-spray per tire routine. Gets in all the nooks and crannies with no excess to sling off.
  7. I've tried a bunch of stuff from Auto Finesse, and really wanted to like it, but can't really get into most of it. Finale detail spray: Decent enough, nice and slick with good beading between washes. That said I've already ordered a replacement. Triple AIO: Easy to apply, major PITA to remove, could never get anywhere near the results by hand that others claim. Tough Coat sealant: Smells like a bottle of straight gasoline, never even used it. Crystal glass cleaner: Sucks Citrus APC: Wouldn't remove week-old tire dressing, let alone brake dust.
  8. Finally got my first round of mods finished. I did everything myself except for the axleback install. 3DCarbon GT500 wing, Cervini's GT500 chin spoiler, GT500 rear valance and Magnaflow Competition axleback. The exhaust sounds absolutely sublime, I couldn't have asked for anything better. On to the pics!
  9. I will never own another black vehicle as long as I live Had a minor setback. A friend of mine works at a Ford dealership and had them get me a Shelby diffuser, but a California Special diffuser showed up instead, so now everything is on hold until the right part shows up next week
  10. Here's a craptastic pic of the Boss 302 grille... Here's the only pic of the axleback I have, these things were packaged so well Magnaflow could have air-dropped them at my house with no damage so I'm going to let the installer deal with that mess... No pics of the rest, it's all still in boxes. Hopefully I can get everything installed by the weekend, there's a car/plane show here and it would nice for the car to be ready in time.
  11. I was going back and forth between this and Deep Impact Blue, definitely glad I went with Race Red. I love how it changes from red to orange to pinkish depending on how bright the sun is. My wife actually found Race Red nail polish the other day but I'm not expecting it to be a very good match
  12. After 3+ years and over 57,000 miles I decided it was time to say goodbye to my Charger I wanted something faster that didn't weigh as much as a 2-story house, and after much back and forth this is what I ended up with... 2014 Mustang GT Premium in Race Red. It was bought new last August and then traded in April with only 522 miles on it. I've already added a Boss 302 grille (not installed yet in that pic) and I have a GT500 wing, GT500 chin-spoiler, GT500 rear-diffuser and a Magnaflow Competition quad-tip axle-back awaiting install. I should be having quite a bit more fun with this than I did with my Charger
  13. I used APC once and must have sprayed too much because it took about 15 hours to get them rinsed clean
  14. I've always used 1Z Cockpit for the touchscreen and clear plastic over the instrument cluster (and everything else that wasn't some kind of upholstry...), but my TID should be here for this weekend's cleanup so I'll be switching to that.

    iPhone cases

I've since upgraded to a Galaxy S4, but when I had my iPhone 4 it lived in a Magpul Executive Field Case. Dropped my phone numerous times onto just about every hard surface imaginable and I never cracked a screen. http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG450/125 They only make cases for iPhones, or else my GS4 would be in one, too.
  16. I needed some In & Out for a car show this weekend and ordered it from Detailer's Domain. 2nd time I ordered stuff from them when Adam's was sold out. Oddly enough the 1st order was June 2nd, 2012 and this order was June 2, 2013
  17. One of the things I hate about cleaning my car is finding all the chips and dings and whatnot that have shown up since the last time. I start to get really frustrated and wonder why I spend so much time and effort trying to keep it looking nice when it seems like a losing battle. When it's all done, though, I remember why..... Side note: It was WAY too hot to be doing this today. I actually burned my right knee kneeling on the ground when I was putting the SVRT on the tires.
  18. More portable, better battery life, game apps are more entertaining than PC games, cheaper than most laptops,, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than a MacBook and the "folio" style keyboards flip behind the iPad so you can use it without when you want. Plus with a laptop I'd have to lug around a mouse as I find touchpads to be the most useless device ever created.
  19. No-go on the Archos, it's just a cover and I'm looking for a full case
  20. The only Logitech one that covers the front and back is the solar one and it looks like it adds a considerable amount of girth to the iPad. ZAGGkeys makes a couple with a backlit keyboard, but I don't know if it's worth the extra $30 & reduced battery life.
  21. My wife bought me an iPad for our anniversary and I wanna pick up a keyboard for it. Right now I'm going back and forth between the Belkin Ultimate Keyboard Case (leaning more towards this) and the ZAGGkeys PROfolio. I'm open to other suggestions but I definitely want a keyboard/case combination, not just a keyboard that covers the screen when it's closed. 22. Quick Sealant/Brilliant Glaze/Americana Sunroof in the middle has Super VRT on the trim and Quick Sealant on the glass.
  23. Any hints on a timeframe? I'm trying to hold-out so I can order all this new stuff at once.
  24. This is awesome. First the new Detail Spray, then the new wheel cleaner teaser on FaceBook and now this
